  • Beautiful country and people.

    Greetings from Iran <3

  • Dream of a free nation. Don't desire for a stronger government that will strip away more of your rights.

  • Lebanon needs a leader like the USA has in Ron Paul. But hopefully Lebanon will be smart enough to actually elect that Ron Paul so that he can help restore freedom there ... unlike in the US where we vote for murderers and tyrants like Bush and Obama.

  • @AynRandFanJG So help us God if we're destined to be ruled by leaders like Ron Paul. Lebanon has its problems as it is. The last thing Lebanon needs at the moment is to be looking to the U.S. and its politicians as an example.

  • @landofthegolden Who said anything about looking at the US and its politicians as an example? Ron Paul is an anomaly. He is anti-war, pro-peace, anti-intervention. He does not believe the government should be your mommy and daddy. Sounds like you don't know who Ron Paul is. Don't worry, neither does most of the United States.

  • @AynRandFanJG I am fully aware of who Ron Paul is and I still maintain my position. Paul's anti-intervention stance is precisely what this documentary is speaking out against. While Paul advocates against institutions like FEMA, Social Security, and NCLB, Lebanon is in desperate need of its gov to step up and provide a basic structure of assistance. Paul's philosophy may be relevant in the US where gov has grown uncontrollable, but here in Lebanon we barely have a gov to begin with.

  • @landofthegolden You clearly didn't watch the video. That whole part about Lebanon taking care of Lebanon's problems and not needing France, the US, Israel, etc. ... that's kind of what non-intervention is all about. Ron Paul advocates against murder and empire. The last thing Lebanon needs is to destroy economic opportunity to enrich the elites. The last thing you need is stronger masters.

  • i refuse to abide by what these people say , cause i know the reason behind this situation : it is the lack of Authenticity specially in the education system ....i am ready to discuss this with anybody

  • It is abvious that all people, and especialy those speaking in the movie, are fed up with all the bull sh**t going on in Lebanon by our STUPID politicians that WE elect each time due to emotions that OUR PAST had planted in our minds, which WE think is Correct and COURAGOUS while it is all for their own benefit....

Its time to say that we don't care, and let movies such these to spread and penetrate people'e mind and emotions cuz this is true patriot emotions that a person must hold on to...

  • I love Lebanon, and it is one of the most beautiful places on earth. The dirt and grime and the bad actions of people can not ruin the face of this beautiful country, no matter how thick the dirt is. I see people calling themselves Druzes, Maronites, Christians, Sunni's, Shiite's but yet can not embrace the humanity that our creator has created. This helps to de-moralize a people, a country...after this, what do you have left? But in all, I love Lebanon, and Lebanon will always be in my heart :)

  • The one thing that they forgot to add (Within human rights), is the fact that there are a lot of racism in Lebanon. I am speaking my opinion, so please move on if the response to my comments cuts to the truth and people can not take the truth. The treatment of maids, is sick. This is a human rights issue. This video shows the ugly truth about beautiful Lebanon. The thought-forms of some people don't care about this wonderful country. All they worry about is who is more pretty and who is an Arab.

  • It is about time for Lebanese People to rise!

  • i want to know why do lebanese hate each other

  • I love my country, I will be back

    I will be back ...

  • I love to watch the video. Everytime I watch it I feel happy I left it :)

  • Ya shabéb ! Why don't we all start from now on spreading this video!

On facebook and all other social medias...

Every person that loves Lebanon should spread it too!

This video should be seen by every single lebanese person

We have been provided with an excellent tool to enlighten us, lebanese citizens, but ALL of its value comes from the number of people that will watch it and get inspired by it !!

    Share! Share! Share!

Is it a lot to do? I don't think so... So just Do it!

    God Bless Lebanon

  • 7 billion on the planet. Erase 5 billion and there will be peace; Too many frigging people in lebanon and etc... Once the Arabs came from the the persian gulf to the levant centuries ago, syria was doomed. How can I build a fair, equal civiliation while father [Arab] betrays me left and right, while encouraging me to fight his enemies.

  • Yes we can ppl, we can change this upside down and go for the best. Wallah all what we need is a revolution. We should start with one before the elections and work positively together. We are all one, whether you are Muslim Sunni or shiia, whether you are christian or durzi...we need a change and Yes we can. This should be the name of our revolution before election starts. ya Allah i want to see this happening before anytime soon. UNITY ppl, UNITY. UNITY.

  • I love this with all my heart. ♥ Second time I watch it yet i still cried throughout the whole thing.

  • This brought a tear to my eye, really sad, we need change fast..

  • The problem with the lebanese is that they put their nationality first instead of their ethnicity. It should be Arab, then Lebanon. We're all Arabs from Syria to Yemen. But I do agree Lebanon is one of my favorite countries and is very beautiful! But we need to love one another more! Arabs are always making fun of another arab nationality or putting them down. Gotta get that mentality out of here

  • @analocaaaa hate to rain on your parade but there are quite a few lebanese who dont consider themselves as arabs...

  • @analocaaaa We need to be Lebanese first, and Lebanese only...we know that many lebanese have different opinions on ethnicity and religion. The only way this country will move forward is to unite as Lebanese, without regards to religion, and the other countries around us

  • it s weird that if haifa fall down, in one day 2 milion people will watch it.

and this marvelous documentary has been here for months and only thousands watch it.

"""share it""" and spread the word people.

  • Lebanon is a modern country in so many ways lets be that in every aspect

  • @yaMicho10452 Lebanon has never been a modern country. And never will be. With the courant government system

  • The Lebanese need to start a revolution, tople the corrupt cogernment, and create a prosperous and united future!

  • I hope that one day I can take my future children to see the land my parents are from, the land my blood belongs to, the land I hear great stories about...

  • @lulu0392 wtf? take a flight there, its not on another planet? where do you live? I live in england and i go every 6 months, the ticket costs me 150 pounds .. less than an expensive dinner at a restaurant.

  • There was a time when men were kind When their voices were soft And their words inviting

There was a time when love was blind And the world was a song And the song was exciting

There was a time Then it all went wrong I dreamed a dream...Now life has killed The dream I dreamed. P.S: I had a dream that I will be living close to my family one day and in my Lebanon country. This is the Dream I dreamed since I left lebanon at age of 18 and Now I am 38. I will always love You Lebanon

  • IT IS A JOKE TO EXPECT MORE THEN WHAT IT IS ,BECAUSE AFTER 20 YEARS OF WAR THE RIDICOULOUS PART IS, WE HAVE STILL THE SAME STUPID LEADERS. THE SAME LEADERS WHO DISTROYED LEBANON .WAKE UP PEOPLE GET RID OF THE BASTARDS

  • @raphael3551 thumbs up for you! you are absolutely correct!

  • good video

  • This short film has to be promoted ! The number of viewers to-date is too low! It's brilliant and it deserves to be viewed by as many Lebanese as possible! We should find sponsors to cover the cost of producing something like 500,000 CDs to be distributed throughout Lebanon (universities, clubs, resorts...). And we should maybe think of airing the film in front of the parliament on a giant screen ! LOL !

  • @Mayaibrahimchah I'm Lebanese living in Saudi Arabia & I'm seriously willing to participate to put a good budget for this documentary to raise the public awaraness & to promote it in a right way... I'm also willing to go beyond this... I believe a movie should be made discussing all of this issues, Nadine Labake can be the project leader & money can be collected through patriotic lebanese ppl who is really willing to start a new revolution.. the most important thing is to bring fair solutions!

  • STOP calling them Politicians & Leaders!!

ENOUGH, These Traitors are highly criminals and must be severely punished

Not only in Lebanon but all over the world, one by one!

  • So sad... NOW you know how to turn Heaven into Hell

There IS hope, people want change...

Lebanon is ripe (ready) for radical changes

    BE ITS TRIGGER.

  • pathetic :S i used to be lebo ...

  • haha and in lebanon it also takes like 1 hour to fully load this video xD

  • habibi Lebanon ;-)

  • What I Formally and Seriously suggest:

From each spokesman in this video to lead election lists themselves and you've got my vote and the many of others. This video has 60,000 views from youtube users only! knowing that this community represents a small part of the Lebanese. So imagine the scale of voters

You took the initiative to make this video...

All of you, with no doubt are knowledgeable personals...

fa trasha7o 3al intekhebat... and this clip could be your ad campaign :)

  • every one should watch this video we really have to change and wake up

بيكفي تعصب طائفي بلبنان مصلحتنا مشتركة يا ريت منوعى و منتوحد

  • A Great Clip to watch.........but am sorry to be one of those mr. salman talked about in the end, those who left and now dream every second from far far far away of a country which from far you see it will never be........though i lived in lebanon for more than 23 years , in the hardest times and enjoyed it best moments......al what i think about now is that maybe helping others to join me will be merciful for them.....to keep dreaming a dream which will never be.......

  • For those people who disliked the video, shame on you.

  • Been living in America for three years now, I feel that I am more American than I am Lebanese knowing that I lived in Lebanon for more than 20 years... I don't know whether the shame should be on me or on... my Lebanon.

  • Very well done. But at the same time, one of the biggest problems in Lebanon is evident in the filming of this video. It's probably not intended, or maybe it is a difficult task. But a project like this has to bring all people of Lebanon together. Whether in the East, South, West, or North...this is isn't something that can be accomplished in only one part of the country and it's enough to care about only the area your "people" live in.

  • @RoohiJaafariya We should see Christians and Muslims (Sunna and Shia) in this video because we all can admit that people given the history of Lebanon identify first with their religion, but when you bring all religions together that is when people will start to identify first with their nation. I think unity is most important. I was actually speaking the other day to my uncle about Lebanon needing a cultural revolution. Inshallah this can be done by those who still deserve the title of patriots

  • @RoohiJaafariya That's exactly the problem. Your mind functions sectarianism. Why did you have to find out the religion of the people in the film?! They are just randomly chosen Lebanese people. Do they have to have a sect? Do we have to classify them?!!!

  • @pirelli22871 I don't think you read my comment properly or you interpreted it the way you wanted. I already said that I enjoyed the documentary and I sympathize with each and every person in it! My point is that because many Lebanese still identify with their sect given the history of problems it would be nice to show the unity of all when making a video like this that EVERYONE can relate to and in all area of Lebanon...I didn't see any footage in the dahiya for example.

  • @pirelli22871 If there were footage there people of that area would be drawn in by personal experience rather and realize that this is in their area too. Do you not understand how it showing people of all sects and all areas of Lebanon unified would make a difference?? Then you really don't understand Lebanon.

  • @RoohiJaafariya true!

  • @RoohiJaafariya i think your nick name is just a big big big example for me of what people in the clip where talking about!!!!

  • they even don't provide an average connection to watch videos! shame...

  • whats the music used at 16:36?

  • Separate state from religion.

  • Thank you. Who is the author?

  • Very well done.

  • When will this revolution start ? When will decent , hard working people say they've had enough & act ?

Will those of us who love Lebanon yet aren't Lebanese support them ?

Please let it start today ...

  • @auss1e48 it will never start 7obbbb!!!!! la2an l lebnenyye 2ikhweet sharmota w byistehalo le 3am byseer fion!!!!!!

  • I believe one of our problems, as lebanese, is ego. This country isn't really a miracle, we live in one world...lots of miracles around.

On the other hand, this is also a strength, to believe that one's country is the-and-only miracle.

    anyway.

The system is quite corrupt and so are the civilians.

I'd like to think that someday things would change, but with all the brainwashed sheep grazing younger brains, people demanding change move slowly.

  • @leespiritus All of us are hoping but who's gonna start doing something ? Don't you think each one of us should gather with the young people he knows and try to do something and who knows maybe this something will get bigger in time. The brainwashed are brainwashed, but those who figured things out, like you, like me, what have we done ? Let's each one of us try to do something for things to move faster !

  • what a pathetic country we live in.

  • @TheHollyweed And what have we done to make things change so far ? What is your contribution to this country ?

  • At least 30% of us are sick of all our political men. We want new men who reunite us. For that to happen, THE ELECTORIAL LAW SHOULD CHANGE ! The actual law is favourable to the political partis but not to Lebanon, to party men and not nation men ! Us, the 30% are not represented by the deputies! PRAY for the law to change: for the minority to be represented and not only the majority who is politically blind ! If the law doesnt change, there's nthg we can do.

  • Very Touching and Sad.

Hope this documentary will help to improve what has to be improved in our beloved country...

  • @bluedrops111 Each on of us need to do his job in spreading this word. Share it with your friends, if it's too long to install, split it into small ones! We are all responsible as citizens for our country.

  • i gave up, lebanon will never change. all the people may cry when they watch this, or feel upset or angry. or they can just like it. but lebanese people will never try to make a change.

after one day they will forget that they watched this documentary.

    yel3an el se3a yale khle2et fiya blebnen..(awful truth)

  • I live in Greece, and I'm Lebanese, and pround to be Lebanese. The worst thing it's when my friends ask me, there is a war in Lebanon now, right?.. I feel bad for my country, i can't prove them that it's an amazing and lovely country. We no need to have enemies in Lebanon, we have to love each other!

    Peace and Freedom people! Please!

  • @goufist3r The only power we have is to talk and enlighten one another, talk with your friends, think how things can change. Let's do something about this !

  • Do not go into democracy, this was already tested in Europe and US and i would not want to see Lebanon a democratic country

  • Democracy is a state where mass stupid majority decides for smart minority

  • Telling them what they can and cant do! They have too many regulations of personal life, how to raise children, how to drive, how to work etc etc

The "free voting" is set and controlled and the people who most of dont know about politics, vote for the faces shown in TV but they really dont know who they vote for and why - they vote because a person is popular, because has good presence or looks respectable person! But only minority knows politicians really and this minority has no chance to win!

  • democracy is not the way to freedom! go to Europe they all have IT. But they also have a shit! The government interferes in the personal life of citizens!

  • i know but I'm from uk and i don't have arabic letters on my keyboard :P

  • With all respect to all people that talked in this documentary ! they r only good in nagging and talking and they dont act , and the politicians are the result of them ! so stop complaining until u do the right move as other arabic states did !! SORRY

  • @TaAwaida Revolution happens when ALL the people has had enough ! Sadly, most people have excepted this way of living. It's not nagging my friend, it's enlightening! As I see it we need 1 thing: an ELECTORIAL LAW that give chance to NEW MEN ! Let's be reasonnable, we can't erase political partis, but it's not fair for them to rule the country because there are majority, when there's a big minority that want NEW MEN! The electorial law should get proportionnal ! Noone is representing me today !!

  • There is no place on earth like Lebanon! There are no people like the Lebanese! Let's wake up and show the world how beautiful, educated, and civilized our country and our people are! We lack NOTHING! Don't let your soul and your spirit be crushed! There is HOPE! But hope is not actualized by being passive! Let's proactively bless and speak life over our country and fellowmen and women! Love you all!

  • @adorisable We lack nthg, right ! But we're passive, the youngs are passive, and we don't think. We insult our political men and wish they disappear, but we don't ask ourselves how there can be new men in the parliament ! How we can hear new voices, new speeches, men of Lebanon & not of some political party ! Please do your job & spread the word and let us mostly think how things can change in a reasonnable way.

  • A great documentary, but... I believe that...

we have to stop accusing others and take our responsibilities as citizens !

Lebanon is now a BIG Garbage... and please don't tell me that each kleenex that we find in the street is because of the Government !

People, let's, for once in our lives take our responsibilities and admit that WE, each one of us, MUST protect, clean, preserve our nature...

Do we really care about Lebanon ? so before trying to change our politics let's save our country !

  • @raficmansour1 We can't save our country if we are ruled by men who don't care about the country. We need good men, who worries about the environment, about the sea, about the food we eat, about car accidents, who talk about these subjects ! When you know that all the industry & hospital toxic garbage is not being treated by your government but thrown 24h/24h in the sea & those mountains of garbage, what should we expect from the people ? WE NEED GOOD EXAMPLES first !

  • I bet that out of the 37419 Lebanese people that watched this video, 37419 follow a certain political party! I have a Blog in which I write about our Fucked up country, it is just sad!

  • This is an absolute masterpiece! This documentary should be watched by all Lebanese. It is the duty of each of us Lebanese youth to revolutionise the corrupt system that has taken place for decades. We need to remove this feudal system, and in doing so, remove the politicians who have had chances upon chances and continue to torture the country. It is our right, the Lebanese in Lebanon and abroad to enjoy our country, to work in our country, to raise a family in our country!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Harblf I agree with you, but how are you revolutionizing ? I do believe all of us should, but how ? Do you have explanations ?

  • @lebanonisforus Sorry for the late reply, i've been in Lebanon for two months with no internet access. Well I merely placed my opinion so I have no concrete ideas, however I do believe that we should try remove most politicians that are in power. Fair enough we have our loyalty to a certain group but the future of the country and its people are more important than an individual or a group. There is nothing wrong with the idea of march 14 and march 8 as all governments have an acting government

  • @lebanonisforus and an opposition. The problem is that they both are inept and unable to change the situation of the country because it doesn't benefit them. We need them out, and we need new people with new ideas. The youth are our future so it is up to us to change the current situation. I live abroad so it's difficult for me to find answers because i don't live there daily.. I hope that helped man

  • @Harblf i m curious!!!, what does " lf " in ur nickname stands for? (is it lebanese force?)

my friend before changing anything in the world start with yourself.

  • so beautiful we should study this to practice it and apply, poor thing:(

  • the old days of lebanon were the best days, my grandparents told me there was peace everywhere... people lived in peace and everyone was happy and content.. plz lebanon, change for the better

  • walla haram.... i wish i could live a similar life as my grandparents...

  • This is amazing... i salute all who contributed in this video!!

  • It's the truth we know it but,,,, i don't htink it's good advertisement to our country ,, so avoid !!

  • why havent been on tv yet?! I dream of a new Lebanon, i want my country to be pured

  • lebanon has the stupidest and most corrupt politicians in the world. Unforgivable sons of bastards

  • Thank you for this documentary. I hope the youth of lebanon are listening. This should broadcasted on primetime TV.

  • @pirelli22871 The beauty of this country, is that we can still get stuff done if we put our minds to it.. I can not thank you enough for making this film.. Truly sums up everything in a nutshell. My hat's off to you sir.

  • Where were all of you when the Secularist protests started??? The movement lost its momentum because it did not gain sufficient support. So you're all liars, hypocrites. and idiots. The opportunity was right infront of you and you blew it. There might not be another one ever!

  • Whatever! Every AUB election has 14 March and 8 March candidates. But there are also Independent candidates. No one ever votes for them! All AUB students know the message in this video. They're not ignorant but they choose to ignore it. And I'm pretty sure, 99% of the people watching this vid and commenting on it are just the same. You're pathetic and irrational. Secularism, Nationalism, and Rationalism are the answers! Free your mind with philosophical skepticism! Reject religion!

  • Amazing.... Thank you... Thank you

  • Very nice documentary. Love from Turkey! Do your best Lebanon!!

  • This needs to make it to national TV... More people have to see this.. What do you need to get that done?

  • @SI3G3ANON it needs pressure on TV stations. Call your favorite station and urge them to air it.

  • @pirelli22871 true, but the thing is.. media in lebanon is SO politicized as well.. you have to look for a really famous unpoliticized channel.

personally, I have the feeling MTV would accept showing this.. maybe LBC as well..

  • <3 ...

  • This is by A+B what I'm thinking! & I'm sure I'm not the only one. If we are all aware of this, why dont we do smthg ???? We should have our cultural revolution !!! This is unbereable. Bi harf lwahad Kiss Ekht kl siyessiyin from A to Z !!!! They r stoling our country, our future !!!!! Let us not be a useless generation, Let us be the Generation of the changes !!!

  • @CynthiaID Everything lies in the elections. Even if I convinced 40% of the people of my region to vote for a nonpolitical well educated man, and the rest is following some political party, then I've done nothing, because the minority don't get to rule in the parliament ! The electorial law SHOULD get proportionnal, the minority nonpolitical people should be represented by a minority in the parliament ! Cynthia, if they dnt change the law, we need to get it changed , else nthg'll change...

  • @lebanonisforus This is exactly what im saying. Everything have to change. But it has to start somewhere. If we're gonna rely on our "political" personalities... we're gonna wait agessss. I don't know i started to gave up in a way. I dont now if the idea we are dreaming of could happen.

  • 45 minutes well spent.

  • @haissamyahya So true ! <3

  • a suggestion.. why dont you print it on CD and give it away in lebanese universities on Independance day ? Find a bank to sponsor the operation..they are very keen these days about their social responsibility so make use of that..

  • @ladouce16 nice idea ! The word should be spread, we should try to see how to spread it.

  • Excellent job. Did you think of showing it in lebanese universities ? I think you should do that.. Amazing that this video was sent to me by an american friend from lebanese origin. Of course I shared it on Facebook immediately.

  • looool my parents place is in this video :P ddnt even know :P

  • Guys share this video on Facebook each Lebanese should open his eyes and see the TRUTH! We should create slogan " منكره الزعما بلبنان وبدنا جيلنا الجديد يحكم لبنان "

  • i'm proud of being lebanese. i'm proud of being lebanese

  • Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Libya, Syria...all these nations asked for a change! & most of them had it! Despite having dictators in place....

Lebanon is the only "democratic" (ish) country in the middle east but its citizens can't do a revolution!

    Don't you see a paradox?

  • @knaim1 @pirelli22871 I have not visited a country yet, where the citizens do not have complaints..... Lebanon throughout history has had nothing but turmoil, chaos, civil wars more than any country in the region!!!

Do we want to be back into the distruction cycle all over again??? I think we deserve a normal and intelligent phase now that does not include riots, demonstrations, guns and rocks and blood shed....enough!!!

  • @knaim1 No I don't see a paradox. The dictators are hated by most of their people. When the people had enough of this system, they made revolution. Our system is democratic, if the actual men are ruling, it's because there's a big blind majority who wants them to rule, and a minority can't do a revolution ! Some are waiting for the next elections to see if their favorite man will rule again, how can we expect a revolution? Plus they've divided us so we can't revolt but culturally !

  • quite simple really....to think about fixing it that is...

  • Thank you for creating this.. it is exactly what we Lebanese need! Everyone should share this video on every social media possible in order to make a difference.

  • @LamaHassanyeh I shared it and I'm not even Lebanese!

  • Very useful documentary. Thanks for putting it together Pierre. Are you going to reach to some TV stations in Lebanon or outside Lebanon to play it?

  • This video made me cry, I think Lebanon is ready for revolution! If we're gonna wait for the politicians to do it or for anyone else then we're going nowhere but worse! We the people should make the change! Please share this video..

  • lebanese ctitizens, you need a solution?!.

THERE IS ONE:" the good people who can change lebanon are not participating to the parelement elections. we have to let them know that there s thousands of people who are ready to vote and support them so they have a chance to win"

  • so if u wanna dislike and share ur hate on this movie, defending solidere or " jabal l zbele " go do it elsewhere :)

  • why don't all these people who just spoke, get together and make party and present for elections? That's how lebanon will get out of this shit it's in.

  • We Should All Take Action

  • In consultancy...they say a person who comes from outside and looks at a problem from a new prospective..and this is what this documentary does... It represents EVERYTHING upsets me when I visit Lebanon..I leave depressed every year I visit...people civilization is not measured in what latest car and cloth your wear or how many big buildings you build....
