@budgielover12 no worries, there's nothing wrong with them, that's how they regurgitate food from their crop to feed each other. Head bobbing when they're not sharing food is also perfectly normal, they like to play too:)

They hide because they fear you. Imagine being a tiny bird, approached by a huge being with hands (talons to the budgie). You need to earn their trust. Give them food treats from outside their cage (their safe zone), then give them food treats by hand within their cage, so they look forward to seing you. Then teach them to 'step-up' and 'come here'. Once you have earned their trust and they look forward to seing you, try it outside of their cage. Patience and repetition is key.
