i think its funny you say we have no bullpen. every team thinks they have a bullpen all that that matters is who can get outs when there needed and the yankee line up will make any of your "good bullpen" teams sweat and knock them around without a problem. lets not forget the torment they put the boston bullpen in last year....okagima...exactly.

Yeah fight, that's called an effective bullpen. Remember, last year our effective bullpen was Proctor and Vizcaino, they're gone. What the yankees have assembled now is not a mesh that will retain success. Joba is all that they have, honestly, why cheer for a bullpen that you'll be booing the whole season? It's the number 1 issue that needs to be addressed and won't be until they fix it. Don't encourage garbage, or thats what will be put out.

Since the Yankees have no bullpen what so ever, id hoped to begin with they put him in the pen.

you can't really judge the pen until the season. if farnsworth & bruney can put up pre-2007 numbers, they'll be alright. but i'm more worried about the rotation than the pen. if Mussina crashes, then the Yanks might be done.

Well Lady, yes.. yes you can judge it since hawkins is washed up, and Farnsworth and Bruney aren't even average. Mussina will be fine compared to the bullpen, Mussina might actually haveto be put into the bullpen. I still am an firm believer, that if the Yankees do not acquire another pitcher for the bullpen, they will not make the playoffs. The bullpen will probably be ranked 20th in the league.
