This song gives me goosebumps evertime I hear the opening the opening guitar riff, followed by the heavy drums.Love It. It's amazing that the music is loud and pounding and yet you can still understand every lyric. Best band of my high school years, sounded great on my Craig Powerplay eight track car stereo
The best group of the 70's and I know. I was in high school then. I had their 8 track back then and cruised many nights listening to them. I am now in my 50's and still love um. I listen to them all the time in my truck while headin home from work and they are still just as good,
@MrBobjorge it must have been great. im 17 and listening to all their remastered CD's. its cool how much things have changed. i have a feeling even I will still be listening to boston and enjoying them when I'M 50 lol!
@62beatles69 good music will last for ever.i rode the grunge wave in the 90's and most of that music wont have the legs to last. 70's were the best in music.they were the giants of music
@MrBobjorge 8 track!! thats awesome. my big bro had one in his 74 charger he let me cruise with him sometimes jammin all night. i felt so cool being with him. he introduced me to alot of good music including boston.what a great time!! now we are in our 4o's. thanks brother , you are still cool!!!
if somebody told me that the lead guitarist from boston (sorry i can't think of his name) invented the guitar, and helped invent rock with the rest of the band, i would believe them.
Con este tema debió comenzar este segundo albun(Don't Look Back) es realmente espectacular por la introducción,siempre estará en el recuerdo Brad Delp a todos que gustan de Boston
My mom was going to take me to see Boston in 2003 or so but we didn't end up going. It would have been one of the greatest experience of my life without a doubt, considering, Boston is my favorite band ever - hands down.
"I can't believe it when some people say that it's a sin the way we live to die. There's never been a more natural thing. It's a brand new story but it's the same old lie."
So Brad is an atheist? Not that it matters as far as his music goes but that line is kind of shocking
Had this Cd when I was in high school, 2004-2008, my friends and I would get a couple 30 packs hope into my friends car which had a kick ass stero sytem, and drive from the the river to the mountains on the back roads just haveing a roady PARTY! Whooo great times! Yes drinking an driving is dumb but we had a safe way of doing it.
One of the best bands ever. Started listening to Boston when I was a kid(because my older brother had it jammin everyday). 40 years old now . started when I was 7 and still can't get enough. True rock and roll! True music! It don't get no better!!!!!
I just have to say: No matter how many times I listen to a song brought to us by the wonderful Boston, I still smile and I still rock out. Impossible to listen to this song without bobbing your head or dancing. Shame about Delp.. such a talented man with a beautiful voice. Boston will always be rocking out my heart forever!! YOU FU**ING WIN BOSTON! ROCK ON ALL!
It does not matter where I am at when I listen to this song.......in my car, folding laundry, picking up dog shit, or on the computer........When I hear this song, doing whatever, I can barely contain my smile and feel like I am partying even when I am not. THANK YOU BOSTON, SIMPLY TRANSCENDENT!
our school is doing this for show choir and i have the guitar solo, it took me too whole weeks to figure this out but i finally got it!!! ... i felt like i had to let everyone here know because ive been playing along with this vid for those 2 weeks.
Incredible song....."BABY....Its a party as long as your there"...... OH...Good memories in High School, cruising and good old fashion fun! Thanks so much for the video~ God bless!
Boston were such technological innovators on so many levels, thanks to the genius of Tom Scholz. A huge sound way before their time. Thanks for the vid. And R.I.P. Brad.
Awesome job on this amazing tune..."Party Like It's Your Job"!!!!! Keep 'em coming....thanks!!! "If You Got Somethin' For Me, I Got Somethin' For You"-Boston
I totally love Boston and this comment is for the people that r griping cuz of the 5 albums in 33 years!!!! U see, that was the BRILLANCE of Boston, in my opinion, it had to be perfect, I respect the fact that they only had 5 in 33, they just didn't throw anything out there, grade a or nothing, yeah they could have made 40 shitty albums as oppossed to 5 GREAT albums, u get what I am tryin to say! and I thank God that we have the 5 masterpiece albums that r truly brillant pieces of music
Tom Scholz really had a different frame of mind, with his own success, he didn't make the band maintain on the scene in the way others did. Yet, they could have done well with more albums year to year
Kudos on listing Three Dog Night!! Always loved them! My favorite band is the Beatles, then Boston, then Cinderella and rounding out my top five would probably be Def Leppard and the Led Zeppelin. I feel bad listing Zep behind Cinderella and Def Leppard but I love '80's hair metal. To each his own, I guess.
With respect, my top five would go Doobie Brothers, Journey, Boston, Chicago, and Reo Speedwagon. I love Boston but only five albums in 33 years isn't a lot of production. They could have ruled rock and roll...
I agree with you on the 5 albums in 33 years thing. Boston could have been the second best group, behind the Beatles, if they had released a new album every other year or so.
The Doobie Brothers were my very first concert. I saw Chicago twice on their Chicago 16 tour, which was the last one with Peter Cetera. Great concerts! I saw Reo Speedwagon with Cheap Trick. Saw Boston with Brad Delp back in '96. Saw them with Brad and Fran Cosmo four years ago. Miss Brad a lot!!
@VaultDweller95 I agree wit you man. I was born in the 1991 but I picked up on 1970s and 1980s rock God knows how. But I know what sounds real and I seperate our generation bullshit from the real and I always roll wit the real
@VaultDweller95 I think its great to be born now, with all the cool things we have. We still get to enjoy any music from back in the day, just like it was back then. We can still drive our muscle cars, with the GPS on. LOL.
You all realize RockOnAdamp is wrong in the fact that in the tags he put 80s and 80's even though nothing at all about this song is 80's because the Greatest Hits CD didn't come out 'til the late 90's.
