Seriously? "Survive"? I was stuck at the Dallas airport for 24 hours. My family was lucky because MOST of the others who were booked for our flight (which was cancelled because of less than a MILLIMETER of snow -.- ) were stuck at the airport for 2 whole days. Sure, we complained, but we didn't "die"... We weren't allowed to leave the airport or access our luggage either.

We got a flight delay at Tijuana international. Our fligh was delayed for 2 days, we had to go home and it was almost cancelled. It happened when that volcano erupted. The San Diego airport almost closed down cuz flights were so bad.
