I think you mean "tablet"

Wacom is just a company (one of many) that makes tablets for computers.

Essentially rather than use a mouse you touch a pen to the tablet in front of you (looks like a big, mostly flat black screen usually). Much easier for people used to drawing with pencils/markers, etc compared to a clunky mouse.
