I have had several friends travel internationally for cosmetic surgery. Belgium must the the up and commer for gastric band surgery as well as cosmetic surgery. How long must a gastric band stay in place. And do you have to have it removed by the same place that placed it?

@DebbieLattuga Yes Indeed, Belgiumis is now very popular for gastric band surgery. The Gastric lap band can be removed at any time following surgery. However most people tend to leave them in once they have reached their target weight just incase they need help again in the furure.
