Are there any way to get like, slow zombies instead of "infected"? The game's way to sluggish when aiming for fast zombies, and them taking six rounds of AA12 to the chest is also way too much. Otherwise great job!
ok i'm just curious as to what add ons you are using and what mods you are using because every time i try to launch it in arma 2 it doesn't seem to work and the error message that comes up says that there's something missing from my game.
@Yohmama1988 it requires the Undead Mod. If you want to try my latest mission (its for OA) then its in description. My latest missions has much more features, is much more bug free and does not require any addons. GL!
@JasonJeezyJeff it gets boring fast, thats why i made a new mission for Arma 2 OA thats dynamic, doesnt require mods, and is coop for up to 20 players with much more features and real optional objectives. In description
I have a noob question: my friend has this game and when we go to play multiplayer the matches with good numbers of players in them all have red x's and we can't join.
@Bleakunending Yes, most servers dont allow mods. They will be yellow or green if they allow it. Also it could be you are running an older version of the game. If you have undead mod, you cannot connect to servers that dont have the mod. This is why you need to check out my other new sandbox zombie coop mission in description. It requires no mods and is waaay better than this mission
@daimyo21 OK, we disabled the ACE mods we had so we could play some matches, but they always have low numbers of players. For the red x matches we can't join It usually comes up in red required: 'version 1.60' but also says that we have version 1.60. Confusing. Yes, so, do you play this coop match yourself, I'll be looking into it, many players?
@Acidicreaction1 It has pretty good graphics for the amount of land that is covered. Overrall id say BF3 has better graphics but thats because its a newer engine thats backed by a big company like EA. Arma 2 OA is created by a smaller indie company called Bohemia Interactive. Nowadays they arent as small and have a higher production quality then before.

Dude nice mission i love it but please make a full zombie apocalipse make it the whole map because me and my friends are trying to play it and we want a bigger map more challinging more vechicles and more weapons in cars and cache's. However this mission is awesome everything about it is great
THUMBS THIS UP: Anyone who is having the issue of zombies standing still, this happened to me. It's not the mission, it is ArmA. You need to update ArmA to the latest patch. You can't go from anything below 1.5 directly to 1.10, so you'll need to upgrade it to 1.9. There will be a download that says '1.0 to 1.9' That is the first one you want if you have below 1.5. That download is a fair way down the page. Next is the very first download, '1.10 update'. Anyway, You're welcome to whoever I help.

@chaosmetroid If you want to try my latest mission Ive placed it in the description. It requires no mods and is a ton more fun single player and COOP then the one in this video. If not you must download the Undead Mod and place it in your Addons folder and also download this mission. This mission is very buggy in multiplayer and laggy as well. The newer one isnt nearly as bad but make sure you have descent internet if your planning on hosting for friends.
@VivienForum Try my new mission. Its in the description and is a much more detailed/fun survival mission with a real foot/water system etc.. It doesnt require mods but has to be played on Arma 2 OA. Its also multiplayer ONLY but that doesnt mean you have to have people connected.. just need to be ran in multiplayer.

The minefield borders are to insure players dont go out off the map and condenses the player area instead of spreading the zombies thin by going across large portions of the map. Please be more specific so I can answer it better.
@xXJakePlaysXx Your playing the one in the video above. Thats the one with mods, its the old and buggy one and doesnt work well in multiplayer. The military is fending off for themselves and are mainly mercenaries if anything and thats why they attack you. They defending the antidote so you must fight them to get it or wait for them to get overrun.
in this game can u completely make your own world? because if that's so........SOMEONE ANYONE PLEASE MAKE RACOON CITY OF RESEDENT EVIL 2 and not just the the city but even the secret lab and everything that would be sick like legit zombie survival in Racoon City. You do not need anything expansion-wise for this. All you need is the Undead Mod v0.84. Also, you just put it inside your Missions folder (both of them), then you can run them. Make sure to pick your character besides dog (double click the police/scientist thing) in singleplayer. You can put this inside MPMissions, it's been tested already and works just fine on multiplayer. Download mod by putting PBO and Bisign files in "AddOns" folder, and the "BIKEY" in the "Keys" folder.
I have a question, I've successfully booted up the mod as well as your crazy sandbox mission (huge props btw), unfortunately, when i try to play it as a single player scenario, it always starts me off as a rabid infected dog......i can change units mid-mission of course, but is there is a way to START as a cop, or bodyguard, etc???
@FenixFOAD Oh yea, so one of the dogs must be set as player. to avoid this all you have to do is select one of the playable units and make as player. Playable units have a light purple circle around the unit i believe. Good luck!
@MelkarRPG if u want to play singleplayer, make sure u make another character "player" by double clicking on the police/scientist anything. The dog happens to be a player because I was messing with mission and forgot to change it back

@Ethanking13 I can confirm to you it is good on steam, it's just different by the installed folder, and you get the patch a little later. I suggest you download the Demo of OA to see if it does run well on your machine first. Then if it does, buy the package that include the most. It's cheaper than buying separatly.
@theliferulz Download Undead mod .84 and drop into addons folder. Than download mission from above link and drop into my documents/arma 2/missions folder. (create mission folder if one is not present) have fun!

@MrRzareckiwuzhere Too bad theres not many servers hosting it.. at least the zero I saw when i was hosting. Ill look into putting it back up to host again in future. i had people join mine when I had it up but most didnt even have the addon.
If its in made in editor then yuo can play it with your friend just save to Mutliplayer one and create session and choose map and play.I have tested and works great.
@SabataurXC this was made in editor and can be edited. As for OP, no.. the zombie models are Arma 2 models and im not sure what other gameplay mechanics it uses that OP may have changed. Wait til author transfers over or make a request on forums that he does.
I downloaded this mod n enjoyed it on single player, i was whondering how i could set it up for multiplayer? i tried to just copy the sandbox mission folders into the Multiplayer Missions folder in Arma2 but when i was in game the zombie missions didnt show up in the available missions, Im using the Retail Box version not the Steam Version and its Arma II not OA any help on this would be greatly Appreciated.
@Vlaxerman343 of course... there are many different start areas you can do. One is a group of police 3 or 4, a scientist with 3 bodyguards (scientist can heal). Random civilians in a small town or in the big city (some with no weapons at all).
Looks sweet, Still working on how the hell you did that food, water and eat system though. found the files in your DL, but I suppose there is more to it than just inserting them into the mission folder huh? :) Could you throw me a guide or something, so others, like ourselves, could enjoy some of your skills in other missions too? @Revixy I just used a counter script and modified it to decrease with time and whenever food/water was used, itd add to the counter and max out at 10, which means your full. Check out the Food, Eat, Water scripts. Also countdown and watercountdown is for the food and water script timers.

@killertediz1 The demo? I am currently running a dedicated for the demo and have been for a while.. I get more fun from the demo then the full version because I like creating small missions. Though the full version is fun and more variety, just its tough to find smaller games vs the massive domination games.

Its harder to get raw players trying to join because most of them dont wanna spend 20 minutes or less downloading the undead mod so I constantly get connects with "No undead mod" and disconnected and thus waste my time hosting.

@MelkarRPG if u want to play singleplayer, make sure u make another character "player" by double clicking on the police/scientist anything. The dog happens to be a player because I was messing with mission and forgot to change it back

@ilkad101 you can get ARMA 2 on Steam if you want to download it. It's as functionnal as the boxed retail version.

@Ethanking13 I can confirm to you it is good on steam, it's just different by the installed folder, and you get the patch a little later. I suggest you download the Demo of OA to see if it does run well on your machine first. Then if it does, buy the package that include the most. It's cheaper than buying separatly.

@theliferulz Download Undead mod .84 and drop into addons folder. Than download mission from above link and drop into my documents/arma 2/missions folder. (create mission folder if one is not present) have fun!

@MrRzareckiwuzhere Too bad theres not many servers hosting it.. at least the zero I saw when i was hosting. Ill look into putting it back up to host again in future. i had people join mine when I had it up but most didnt even have the addon.

If its in made in editor then yuo can play it with your friend just save to Mutliplayer one and create session and choose map and play.I have tested and works great.

@SabataurXC this was made in editor and can be edited. As for OP, no.. the zombie models are Arma 2 models and im not sure what other gameplay mechanics it uses that OP may have changed. Wait til author transfers over or make a request on forums that he does.

I downloaded this mod n enjoyed it on single player, i was whondering how i could set it up for multiplayer? i tried to just copy the sandbox mission folders into the Multiplayer Missions folder in Arma2 but when i was in game the zombie missions didnt show up in the available missions, Im using the Retail Box version not the Steam Version and its Arma II not OA any help on this would be greatly Appreciated.

@Vlaxerman343 of course... there are many different start areas you can do. One is a group of police 3 or 4, a scientist with 3 bodyguards (scientist can heal). Random civilians in a small town or in the big city (some with no weapons at all).

@JESTERKAism You only need arma 2 but arrowhead is worth the dual package. More mods for arma 2 but OA has a bunch already.

Looks sweet, Still working on how the hell you did that food, water and eat system though. found the files in your DL, but I suppose there is more to it than just inserting them into the mission folder huh? :) Could you throw me a guide or something, so others, like ourselves, could enjoy some of your skills in other missions too? @Revixy I just used a counter script and modified it to decrease with time and whenever food/water was used, itd add to the counter and max out at 10, which means your full. Check out the Food, Eat, Water scripts. Also countdown and watercountdown is for the food and water script timers.

@daimyo21 Yea, found everything I needed the same night I wrote my comment. Thanks for pointing them out anyway though. Noticed You managed to have Zed spawns far wide spread than what the usual spawns do if just placed. How did you managed that?

@Revixy Oh yea, the countdowns are on loops so they keep adding to the public variable "hunger" 10 = hungry 0 = not hungry, my bad..

@killertediz1 The demo? I am currently running a dedicated for the demo and have been for a while.. I get more fun from the demo then the full version because I like creating small missions. Though the full version is fun and more variety, just its tough to find smaller games vs the massive domination games.

Its harder to get raw players trying to join because most of them dont wanna spend 20 minutes or less downloading the undead mod so I constantly get connects with "No undead mod" and disconnected and thus waste my time hosting.
