I have yet to play Fallout 1. But that isn't because it isn't a good game. It's because it isn't my kind of game. Everyone has their own type of game they like, and I personally like first person shooters, and sometimes, action-Rpgs.

I don't like games where grinding is an integral part, but I know this game is amazing and famous, and I respect it for being so popular.

I do love Fallout 3 but, I find Fallout 1 enjoyable enough to play. I just need some help getting past Super Mutants. They are so tough. A laser pistol or hunting rifle is about my best weapon currently.

It can be long or short. There are only 2 real quests, and you don't have to be leveled up high if you know what to do.

Sometimes it is easier to work alone in the fallout games. Means less weapon, ammo and stimpack distribution (except for maybe dogmeat, who's just utter sh*t... I didn't have the heart to kill him though, let the mutants do it for me :P). On the other hand however having a few followers really helps out when you're in a tight spot.

I don't really like the followers in F1, apart from maybe Tycho. But it does help to have a few extra guns on your team. And unlike F3, you get XP even if you let your follower kill the enemy without you firing a bullet.

I was really upset with his stupidity in the first part of the battle. So i killed him that shotgun ammo sells really well. I find it easier to work alone in the first game.
