Took me maybe 6 hours to get past this part, because I got stuck up on that small hill with all the brutes *and* the wraith concentrating *all* their fire on like a few metre wide radius, whilst simultaneously making raids on all sides... Needless to say I finally made it through only to get shot by the damn sniper around the next corner...! Pretty much had to memorize a "perfect run" in the end, which involved interchanging positions between this ridge and the "hill" spot, and many headshots!

another easy trick that I found is that when the first wraith starts to shoot at you, you wait for it to come closer, and then jump on and kill the guys in it with the buttstroke thing (melee). then take the tank and you can drive it through the rest of the level. You have to move the roadblocks out of the way, which takes a couple rams. but you can take out many targets from long range.

in the part before, steal a wraith. you can make it through the cement barriers on the highway. Just ignore all the brutes and grunts. Speed right through until you get to another highway. Kill the 2 brutes and grab a brand new chopper.

That's crazy! I can't even manage Heroic! Even on Normal I died at this bit quite a lot.

Still, I guess you need to know the level really well (i.e. the place with the sniper) to be able to manage harder difficulties

Lol I was just playing this map, and I did the stupidest thing ever.

Well my sniper ran out, and I'm in that corner, when the dropship drops like 50 brutes out.

So I have 3 jetpack brutes to my left on the mountaing, the fuel rod guy waiting in the front, the brute shot one standing a ways behind him covering him, and he's being covered by 3 brutes with spikers.

I have my br and shotgun.

i lost all br ammo, and the fuel rodder and brute shotter are still there. then i got kicked off the xbox.

spiker is a brute smg but it shoots spikes instead of bullets.

Spiker is the brute equivalent of smg but better. BR is the battle rifle but the covenant carbine is a bit better at close range.  fuel rod is the covenant rocket launcher.

Haven't played Halo in a while but you've got to turn some sort of co-op/competitive scoring mode on in the campaign menu.

In my opinion this part of the level is one of the hardest parts of the whole game. I died A LOT even when using the sniper. There's also another sniper in one of the bunkers or whatever they're called of but it's very very hard to get when they're brutes all over that area and the annoying Wraith.

The easiest way to do this part is to drive a Chopper over the broken bridge and kill everyone from a distance and splatter the Chieftain. Then snipe the tank gunner and plant a grenade to tank.
