When I grew school plays we the Wizard of OZ never this and there was a reason for it. Let children be children - don't let them force you to allow them to grow up too fast - what do they know. Child pregnancy is through the roof - aren't we the adults to blame for not being the real influencers in our childrens lives.
I have to say I have a real problem with this. These are young girls, they should never be dancing to a Robert Palmer song. Gosh almighty show their talents without the glamour for Gods sake this is just wrong. Kids of this age should be dancing in trousers/pants (USA) and braces. It should be about their abilities and nothing else - the US has lost it - look at Lady Gaga's Alehandro and tell me this is not adding to the future promotion of soft porn to the masses as well as objectifying Women.
