GM was very disappointed with how Wexler did the song, but it was originally going 2 b the 1st single, so a video was already ready 2 b shot. Eventually, b4 Make It Big was released, GM was able to go back & re-record it & produce it himself how he wanted it to be, which is the 1 we know of. When the actual video was made, much of the story scenes of this original video were kept 4 it with new performance scenes filmed
