awsome video, but its a bit deceiving. you were ill-equiped, and ill-experienced, i have been up there with 80k winds and its been raining so hard it has flooded overnight, making it damn near impossible to get out. when we got down to alder flats other groups had abandoned all there gear and sar teams were up the mountain dealing with a severe injury (and please note that this ws in summer). Ive cut many a trip short to help un-experienced hikers down safely.
Amazing video guys! Very well put together. Some videos on Youtube seem too long for the content but yours was quite honestly too short. I'm curious how crowded the shelter was when you were there, and what time of year was that? Again, well done.
Oh, by the way, what are the songs that play at 1:44 and 2:13, if they are not a part of the song "The Ocean"? Because I really liked those two songs.
Brilliant video. I once visited British Columbia a few years back (I was in Vancouver, Grouse Mountain, and Victoria), and it's absolutely beautiful there. How far is this mountain from Vancouver (I'm just curious)? And do you guys like to go on many trips similar to this one? If so, I look forward to seeing future videos like this one.

@manowartrexspacefan didn't sprain anything, but our feet were in agony by the end. It is a rocky hike, and we felt every jagged edge.

@mnbvczxc hey, thanks! The shelter wasn't crowded, but it is meant for emergency use only. We were there in July.

the first song if I remember correctly is by a band called Beardfish and the second is from Thievery Corporation.

it is beautiful. Golden Ears is only half an hour away from downtown Vancouver by car. There will be many more trips like this one to come.
