Setting aside the legalities, on a military survival sense, occupying both Gaza & West Bank, more the latter, makes sense, since an enemy could use them as a place to launch an invasion which could cut Israel in half. Vietnam was not only never even an ally, but it presented 0 threat in any military sense to the USA for obvious reasons, like 7000 miles of ocean between Nam & USA. How was WW ll unnecessary? Setting aside the legalities, on a military survival sense, occupying both Gaza & West Bank, more the latter, makes sense, since an enemy could use them as a place to launch an invasion which could cut Israel in half. Vietnam was not only never even an ally, but it presented 0 threat in any military sense to the USA for obvious reasons, like 7000 miles of ocean between Nam & USA. How was WW ll unnecessary? How long would the UK & US survive if the Nazis controlled Eurasia from ocean to ocean?
