why is it illegal in the first place? it's extremely good for a person's health, and the government has no right to prohibit it anyway. it's a matter of personal choice, which people hav a right to make for themselves. it's not indecent at all, it's not offensive for nonsmokers. if ppl don't think it's good to smoke weed, then they shouldn't fuckin smoke weed, but they hav no right to go around imposing their personal, and very shitty, lifestyle choices on other ppl

it is only a matter of time, due to the evolving standards of decency of society marijuana will become legal, there are examples of this throughout history. when something scares the public they stand behind the government, for example prohibition, teachings of evolution in public schools, all of those things were turned around, like i said it is only a matter of time before it is legal.

my wife has M. S.and this would be a great option for her if we lost our health insurance, I live in WI and support this bill wholeheartedly, docters can already prescribe drugs like oxy codone (A drug that should be disinvented) but cant prescribe weed no critical thinking there...

That's jus straight not true. The act of inhaling smoke in general doesn't cause cancer. It depends on what chemicals r in the smoke. In fact, weed is not only non-carcinogenic, it's an antioxidant, meaning it helps to prevent cancer. It also is scientifically established and admitted to kill cancer cells in ppl that do hav cancer

As a Wisconsin resident, I believe that medical marijuana should be legalized and regulated in our state. Compassion and common sense come first. Seriously ill people should have access to this medicine. Thank you.

Im pretty sure IL will be the next state to legalize medical marijuana. The bill past the house vote but was vetoed till November, were just waiting on a final senate vote and a signature by the govener.

EC Academy..getting shipments of kids in and getting boo koo tax dollars-and they don't even care about the kids..they just deal with them until they are of legal adult age-18- and then the majority of them, 9/10 end up in our state's prison system..all because we lack the desire to spend our state's resources (E.g. Tax dollars) to create an adequate amount of teen programs..hmm that wouldn't need them if WI didn't have so many "Legal" Alcoholic non-caring parents.

IF you want to argue, additional "experimentation" amongst adolescents, please throw some more funds of our tax-money into implementing "Parents enforcing responsibility" and by educating us with the truth, rather than presumed hypothetical situations...and also focus on Treatment and Prevention rather than Incarceration. A Negative rewarded with a positive will always defeat Punishment. And stop locking Juvies up just because you don't want to deal w/ them, heard some stories about EC Academy.

This is not about legalizing it, or getting high. It is about decreasing pain in patients, inducing appetite, and controlling nausea. Regardless of the "police's" argumentative arguments. "Experimentation?" Adolescents are already doing worse things, (E.g. Rx Abuse) If you want to deny critical patients of their need of a plant, remember just a plant, that can eliminate and/or diminish their ills, because of your already lax drug enforcement, I hope you should sleep so unsound at night.
