like, 'oo' in dutch is pronounced as 'oa' in english. (like in boat or roast)

'ie' in dutch is pronounced like 'ee' in english,

no matter how much it may sound the same to you, if you see how it's written you can DEFINATELY see a difference.

just a random example:

English: are you sick?

Dutch: ben je ziek?

German: bist du krank?

of course, there are many other examples. if you still think that it's the same, you should practice you're reading skills.

Its pretty good. Dutch is about the most elaborate and complex language to speak. Dutch and moreover Belgium can imitate any accent known to man. From Chinese english american german spanish.
