  • Green banana's like the ones pictured tast a bit like a potato, the aren't sweet.

  • wow didi!, looks grateeeeeeee!, please check new tool here on youtube, you can write some notes on images. please add details of spices pls! :P

  • Aright! but I don't always use the same spices! Some people like lot's of spices and some less. Some people really hate one kind of spice and love others.....That's why it's called Free Style Cooking

  • So glad you like it!! Hare Krishna!

  • This food is beautiful.I wish I could eat

all those bananas. But I am too sick. But I know that Krsna will gooble up every drop.

  • Hare Krishna! I hope you get well soon. Dandavats! -Suchandra dasi

  • Hare Krishna Mataji , your video great ,you make me feel hungry ...i like bannar and coconuts milk too ~ i think Krishna must love this offer foods !

  • Thank you ! Yes Krishna says in Bhagavad Gita that He loves Sattvik foods. I hope He accepted this offering. I can only offer it through Guru, because I have no real love.

  • I only just realized you r in hawaii? It must be heaven compared with the UK. Here it is wet and cold and windy and raining and miserable outside.I have been all over the world, but never in hawaii. I did not realize that the video you send me the other day was from Hawaii,I thought it was India? Thats why I made the reply about christians and muslems forcing conversions unto people.

  • Oh! Yeah I am in Hawaii, it's a great place for a Sattvik lifestyle. Not cold or hot, just right. Maybe you can come here some time, it's a nice place for health and healing. But I must warn that, where I live, it rains a LOT!

  • hey Su Su! This looks really yummy... I'm going to try it out. I love green banana and Ulu! Yuuum! Make more..please. xoxox

  • yeah I knew that cooks would understand this without any explaning..! You must be a cook :-D Oh isn't it cool that you don't have to cut up sticky breadfruit and green bananas, instead you just throw em in the pot! (Im glad you like it :-D

  • beautiful and relaxing. I love the music. So cool that we live here and can cook with our own produce. it's kind of painful to see you cut with one hand.. next time ask me to tape for you. ;)

  • thanks chin :-D yeah it was a lil tricky to do :-) but as you can see most of the cutting was off camera :-)

  • haribol dd, very nice, but this is making me hungry, you should not have send me this, I am on a diet. First my stomach comes in and half an hour later I arrive, "prasadam ki yai!!". I like it very much how you avoid minimal contact with your hands, this is how it is supposed to be. I am working on a video class right now and Srila Prabhupada explaines about how very important this is to avoid germes and disease when we prepare food in general and especially when we cook for Krishna. Thank you.

  • well if you are on a diet, ayurved says just plain boiled green bananas with salt and yogurt is very nice and easy on the stomach and is a cure for anemia and indigestion. what kind of diet are you on?

  • A see food diet :-)I tried all sorts, the problem is that after chemotherapy,i was wrongly instructed by hospital dietitians a certain amount of feed every day via a pipe in2 my stomach and instead of gaining weight i lost over 2.5 stone in 1 month. Then they put me on over 3000 calories p day and i got fat to fast,I think my body is confused,1st throat cancer then chemo, then all that whilst receiving radio treatment followed by 2 years of non stop toothache loosing them all.I am all clear btw :-)

  • This breadfruit and green banana sabji would probably be good for you. I hope you replenish your friendly bacteria! I am so greatful that you made it through all the rough times. My brother had a stomach pipe also and lost weight. When it comes to diet, ordinary doctors just won't do.

  • i think i saw green bananas stewed in coconut curry - no recipe instructions?

  • Yes it is green bananas boiled and then fried in butter with spices. It's intended to inspire because I didn't use a recipe myself and everything is so changable and optional. I would cook it with more water and more butter and more tumeric and hold the beets next time....sour cream inside is good...anyhow it's very FREE STYLE..... :-) I can help anyone who wants to try and make it :-)
