Some people laugh during stressful situations. I could forgive the laugh during the start of the video. And thank you to the guy who reprimanded her. I could not fathom though why a girl was laughing when she was making the comment na 'nagagalit na ata sya' (i think she was referring to the anes consultant who was probably very scared and desperate, thus the impatient gestures). If you weren't there, you can't judge because you haven't seen the whole picture. You don't know what the UERM staff had to go through to keep the patients safe. If you listen closely, the person who was laughing is also the same person screaming & asking for help to assist the anesthesiologist on top of the car. I personally dont know whoever she is, but probably her defense mechanism at that point was humor. I dont think it was right but instead of judging, lets just pray for everyone.
i am one of those people who were able to witness this incident happen 1st hand & it was terrifying...the 1st thing that came to mind was for me to whisper a prayer...unfortunately there are people who react differently in certain situations..but we shouldn't generalize & judge UERM students just by a mistake of 1 person. i think how she reacted was inappropriate, but if we use hurtful words & make negative comments here, we make ourselves not different from people who mock at others in trouble.
In fairness, if you listen closely, the women seem to be really screaming and worried with what they were witnessing. Only one smart alecky guy kept on commenting, "Huwag kayo tawa nang tawa" while the women were crying & screaming.

uerm alumna if you listen closely not all of the girls in this audio were laughing. You can clearly hear the anguish, the fear, the concern in the voices of some of them. So don't rush to judgement and condemn all of us. For your information a lot of students helped in the relief efforts carried out by the school during and after the flood.

Some people laugh during stressful situations. I could forgive the laugh during the start of the video. And thank you to the guy who reprimanded her. I could not fathom though why a girl was laughing when she was making the comment na 'nagagalit na ata sya' (i think she was referring to the anes consultant who was probably very scared and desperate, thus the impatient gestures). I hope the guy saying 'This is -- reporting" wasnt fantasizing of being in iReport while someone is fighting for life.

May this serve as an enlightenment for everyone. We may not know it, but each of us may probably have contributed to this. Throwing candy or junkfood wrappers or cigarettes in inappropriate places. We actually suffer with the damage we do to our environment. Anyway, let's just focus our attention on the things we could do to help others and in making this world a better place to live in. If you weren't there, you can't judge because you haven't seen the whole picture. You don't know what the UERM staff had to go through to keep the patients safe. If you listen closely, the person who was laughing is also the same person screaming & asking for help to assist the anesthesiologist on top of the car. I personally dont know whoever she is, but probably her defense mechanism at that point was humor. I dont think it was right but instead of judging, lets just pray for everyone.

i am one of those people who were able to witness this incident happen 1st hand & it was terrifying...the 1st thing that came to mind was for me to whisper a prayer...unfortunately there are people who react differently in certain situations..but we shouldn't generalize & judge UERM students just by a mistake of 1 person. i think how she reacted was inappropriate, but if we use hurtful words & make negative comments here, we make ourselves not different from people who mock at others in trouble.

In fairness, if you listen closely, the women seem to be really screaming and worried with what they were witnessing. Only one smart alecky guy kept on commenting, "Huwag kayo tawa nang tawa" while the women were crying & screaming.
