The doubler doesn't seem to work in Mono. Using the LEFT/RIGHT parameter, I have the choice of the dry guitar signal with no doubled signal or the second 'doubled signal' with no dry.

When is TC going to enable a 'summed' output on the left (mono) channel? THe socket is marked 'LEFT (MONO)' but is in fact just plain LEFT (meaning that the other right half of the signal is inaudible, not summed). The doubler, unlike the Dual Delay cannot have both outputs panned Left.

Sort it out TC.

Yes - the new Silver ones have the same hardware and software as the red version displayed in this video. So the observation is correct, - now the limited version isn't anything special now other than fancy red color.

On the other hand - we prefer to send out the best versions possible, and there are still some that find that it is cool to have a red one, even if it is only the color that makes the difference.

I recently bought a G-System. Now it is so that on my user banks 06-2 the reverb automatically drops down to -69db output. even if i store my new preset with 0 db output. Then i Store it but when i switch between 06-1 and 06-2 the reverb drops to -69 db. Is there a thing i am doing wrong? or can you tell me how to solve it? Thanks a lot for your help. so the normal silver version that is produced from now onwards has got the same updated hardware "and" software in it. Or has the new silver versions that are produced now only got the older hardware. Bit confusing? So the limited isnt anything special now other than fancy red colour???? same as the new silver model?

what expression pedal is used here?? i see it in all the tc electronic gsystem vids but i dont know what model or brand it is and where to get it. I know i can use any expression pedal but i like the look of that one.. non-intrusive.. any help appreciated thanks

but please bypass the nail polish...

It may get you laid but its a real turnoff to pro players trying to check out the effects your selling.

yes and no, I could'nt care either way but its a distraction that takes away from seriousness of a pro piece of gear, this lad here is a good player and a fine demo persenter, all is well and the youth and enthusiasm is also fine.... the nail polish just throws many pro players off and shouldnt be "in the face" of someone trying to look over a $1500 piece of gear. BTW I bought this unit and am trying to figure it all out. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and this is mine

You define pro players as not liking the nail polish, I think that's a big miscalculation. Besides that a whole lot of people probably don't even notice. You personally have a problem with it, mentioning that is fine, but projecting that on "many pro players" is just wrong (unless you've done the research).

Lets take Nuno Bettencourt as an example to explain what I am saying. here was a guy who played great and had the respect of his "bread and butter die hard fans" who were guitar players. he chose the nail polish route to get more chicks or live out his female side whatever... now he is playing backup for Rihanna and shunned by his fans. This boy here can play but that nailpolish makes him look silly and will eventually hurt his carreer. Got to separate your axe and your closet.

Maybe Nuno likes playing with Rihanna. Also Søren is not a "boy" and can hold his own quite well as you can hear. I don't think he or anybody needs to conform to any style you or "fans" like to lay upon him. If you are a true music fan you wouldn't give much of a shit about how someone looks. Try to be yourself, it feels better!

I don't know him in any way except for his TC work and music. And you're right, I can't stand people who whine about nail polish on a video about a piece of guitar gear, it's completely irrelevant and ridiculous. Cheers.

You can update any G-System to Version 4.02. The only thing that is different between the old G-System and the red one is that it has a total new circuit that makes the unit absolutely transparent. This new circuit comes with the new standard G-system units as well. So if you're planning to buy one, then make sure that it's made pretty recently, or else you get the old circuit. I think it's important that when you spend this amount of money on something, it has to be the up to date version. Gl.

@bossgtdiez10 I suggest that you ask the people that work in the store where you intend to buy it. They can probably open the box for you and check with tc electronic when it was made. But it has been a while since the new circuit was released for the standard g-system, so I'm pretty sure that you have a good chance of receiving the right one right away. But i still think you should check it. GL :)
