It looks like the front left paddler is holding some rope in his left hand while paddling. Whats all the excitement about- level looks like about 3000-ish, after Last Chance( the next rapid) you have about 40 miles of flat water to clean up.
So when do you plan to get off the rubber bus and join the yakkers or C1 kids?
Seriously, old-school boater here from late 80s, back when you could poach Westwater late season when the permit period ran out. What a lovely place and float.

Sock it to Me is NOT a class IV rapid. Skull is sometimes considered class IV but not Sock. Class III+ at best.

Our first trip down WW on our own, so lots of excitement! I know better now about the lose rope, thanks for heads up.
3000ish is still a great ride, hell any flow is a great ride for me :) Happy Rafting bro, cheer up, life is too short to be negative.

Lol no. Our gear got loose and shifted to the back of the raft causing to flip. Just bad luck that day :(
