  • WOW.....THANKS FOR THE HISTORICAL REFERENCE......GREAT SOUND....WISH i'D BEEN IN DETROIT AT THAT SHOW......I WAS 16 AND WOULD HAVE LOVED IT

  • This take was issued by Bomp on LP in 1983 as Iggy PoP I got a right.

This track was on side one which comprised rehersals the band were doing in prep. for recording Raw Power.Side two had tracks from Kill City.

  • This was on 'Metallic KO', reportedly the last 70's-era Stooges show. I've got it on vinyl somewhere.

  • @LBDumont Nope, I've got that lp too, and it's 1973.

  • That guitar is fuckin' dangerous, it should be illegal :)

  • i wanna see iggy piss in bonos fat fucking face , the plastic fake cunts ,,

  • The sound quality is lo-fi, Iggy's letting loose with all the inner juices he has built up inside him (come on, we all know that if you're a guy who knows a gal who wears tight pants and she's way hot you'd be inspired, and I know darn well Iggy knew quite a few ladies like that who inspired him, except he probably got them to take those pants off...), James Williamson's raw, sonic barrage of guitar noise is eeeemmense! Music as the stuff of life itself...this is the proverbial IT!

  • If Iggy didn't become a musician he might have done very bad things.

  • @SubRosaStructure: I bettin' he did any way . . .

  • @YouzTube99 XD

  • Thanks for posting.

  • Well now I know where the Soup Dragons got the sample for the intro to "Pleasure".

  • hey hey hey see,you wave your dancing eyes, stole my eyes from me, you wet /wear your pants tonight, you wear your pants so tight, stole my pants from me, is what it sounded like to me.

  • man those pants are tight (are we talking British pants or American pants? lol)

  • It's "Raw Power"

  • this song is the epitome of sex appeal.

  • @zodiacflower its Shake Appeal, get it right

  • i know the song's shake appeal but this one is sex appealing.

  • I always thought the guitar on this version sounded like it was caterwauling, throwing sparks, grinding against the pavement, and bursting into flame- with rusty strings that could cut through diamonds... and the damn thing is out of tune to top it off- AND I FUCKIN' LOVE IT!

  • even cooler than the shake appeal song from the raw power album ^^

  • This song is from:

    Kill City (BOMP!)

    same label as me:

    Taxi Boys (BOMP!)

The Real Kids have played with him on some shows.

I look like Iggy more than he does, only less wrinkles and muscular.

    Sorry. My videos r not 4 sale....anymore,

    TBD

  • no the track is on rough power

  • WICKED & LETHAL. perfection. Now I know where The Steppin Razors came from, RIP Anthony

    And RON the original ONE

  • this song makes me wanna punch you in the fuckin' face!!!!

  • @burnyourtv

    Old school eh? lol

  • I always thought that this was a version of the song Iggy did post-Stooges.

  • No, this was actually pre-Raw Power

  • wow

  • Ron Asheton R.I.P.

  • this is off the Gimme Some Skin album/session cd thing

  • Thanks!! I love this version!!!

  • excellent- thx for posting & love the zebra stripe fades.

  • thanks, but much as I'd like to I can't take credit for the fades -- I didn't make this video.

  • Where Did you get this song? What album this song on?

  • Tuffest riff ever - free energy.

  • Great 2 hear this again -used to have it on an EP.Also a song called "Sick of you "on it.GREAT STUFF!

  • so where can this song take be found? is it on the cbgb compilation mentioned above?

  • i just fucking danced around my house. it's 12:20 AM, my parents are sleeping and i have school in a few hours. shit.

  • this was on that cbgb compilation a few years ago right??

  • fucking great. way better than shake appeal the guitar is fucking crunk as fuck

  • The real shit...cannot be denied.100% American, if there is such a thing.

  • Well done man, you did some very good editing and made a decent Stooges video. It sounds like a demo of Shake Appeal, probably done at the same sessions (the Raw Power ones) before they got to the final version of the song, 'cause the sound and delivery are pretty much the same. Great stuff, thanks for posting this.

  • awesome!!

  • Awesome tune!!!

  • James's guitar...exquisitely out of tune!

  • love this song and the wild exuberance of his voice. also nice graphix! good job of montaging stuff. thanks.
