@calleyne90 MTA paid extra for these. They wanted new CNG's fast, so we got these. These buses aren't all the same either. The lighting inside, decal scheme, powertrain, and overall features are different.

@calleyne90 It's not late. This bus is the pilot for the order. Same goes with Prevost 2400. The buses have to undergo testing and evaluation first.

its funny they are using that 230 all over the place i saw that same bus in the westfarms depot they had it on the Bx36 and the Bx17 i love that bus they are ordered and coming next month for all the CNG depots i love that bus its so dam nice

@GRTCrid3r No, we have 189 1998-2000 C40LF already in service. 230 is the first off our new order of 385 C40LFs. At the NYMTA, they always get a pilot bus to run around for a month or so to make sure everything is on the up and up and then the remainder of the order beings to trickle in after that pilot period.
