Netherland & Switzerland, 99% coverage and no public plan, but insurance companies are regulated like utility companies. Taiwan & Singapore have best medical care system in the world, 99% coverage, high quality, NO WAITING, and they are government run with less 5% GDP. Unreasonable premium, preexisting condition exclusion, changing drug formulary, deny treatment, medicare drug GAP for Senior are just plain wrong. Come on my fellow American, let us fix the healthcare for our children sakes!
Make sure people remember come election time! She doesn't want to face the people, when they want to cram Obamacare down our throats, she doesn't support S604 shouldn't all politicians want to know what the Federal reserve is up to?
Senator Klobuchar will be at the State Fair, so we can ask her about what gives her or the Democrats the right to decide our healthcare. No politician or bureaucrat has any right interfering in what should be a family matter. This is still a Republic and not some Socialist/Fascist dictatorship overseen by unelected Czars, trial lawyers, lobbyists, union thugs and Acorn!
Yes. It's much better to let an insurance company decide. NOT! People have died because insurance companies deny coverage. 18,000 people die a year because they do not have health coverage.
One of the reasons insurance is so expensive is Trial Lawyers raking in billions of dollars every year in frivolous lawsuits, but I see no attempt at Tort reform by Democrats! We wouldn't want to ruin their cash cow by limiting how much money trial lawyers can make. Far more people will die each year if Government get's their bureaucratic hands on deciding who should or should not qualify for any given medical procedure. Welcome to Fascism!
The fact is that Senator Amy pulled a king size SCAM with this teleconference. Locking herself away, afraid to face her people, she scheduled a conference call, then held it with some selected people before the appointed time, and informed those people who were waiting to ask questions that she was sorry that she had missed them. This is cowardice, total lack of responsibility, and deception at its highest level. She does not deserve this office.
Ah... conspiracy theories. Don't you think you could make your point without having to dream up some sort of delusional scenario? If you had solid proof of such, then present it.
No conspiracy theories here, my friend. This is based on actual experience from one who was told to participate in the conference and said to be ready to participate at 7 pm. Sunday. Then, at 7 p.m. the Senator called with a recorded message, saying that she had the conference at 7 pm. and sorry that she had missed the waiting person. This is outright lying, deception and cowardice. What else would you call it?
You're right, she's a HUGE chicken! The AMERICAN people will triumph over this anyway. This soft tyranny will fall apart because the LOUD MAJORITY has spoken!
Lenin would have addressed you as a "useful idiot" and you attack this man? He thinks for himself and believes he is a self made man as opposed to one who'd (like yourself) tether themselves to the hope that your own failures in life will be abolished along with classes.
Babies complain when other babies play with a toy they want. Usually people grow out of that phase.
Wait, which corporate scum are we talking about here? You mean the pharmaceutical companies that WANT government healthcare to be passed?
The corporate elitists and the ones in Washington are in bed together. All you libbies realized it with George Bush... but you really think Obama and Klobuchar are any different?
I'm against government run healthcare, but I'm not fighting for any rich. I'm fighting for my right to liberty. You need to step back and look at the big picture.
When you can make the connection of large government and inflation we can talk. Till then you don't know what your talking about.
I'm not saying I wouldn't want some kind of health reform. I'm saying it is irresponsible for me to support what is being proposed to by a fiscally irresponsible government that has overstepped it's contract.
By the way Obama has failed in every one of his campaign promises, so I'll trust him? Get out of here.
when you can properly state what is being reformed...we can talk
its not health care reform...its health insurance reform
you idiot
and when you can make the connection between unregulated capitalism and the collapse of our economic system...you will no longer be a fucktard...HUZZAH

If we cant all have equally good health care we should all have equally bad health care?
The reason socialism doesn't work is eventually we run out of other peoples money!

You know what I'm talking about and insulting me only illustrates the fact that most folks supporting this don't understand monetary policy.
As wrong as government has been before, this one has given you some hope of doing something right. A false hope.
You attack capitalism but somehow think that it will provide for "health insurance reform". It doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
Meanwhile Obama has cabinet is full of Goldman Sach's cronies.
I can explain all of this to you.
chewbaca1989 2 years ago 2
i attacked unregulated capitalism....you corporate stooge
someday you will get sick...and the corporatists that you worship will kick you right off your substandard plan and into the streets
and i will continue to insult you...for you are an idiot
brabon1 2 years ago
I challenge your notion that we have capitalism. What has existed since 1971 has not been capitalism it is cronies capitalism.
You are for government monopoly and greater consolidation of power. Tyranny, that's what you advocate.
But you go ahead keep your head in the sand, do it as long as you want, it won't change reality.
