You should also research the development of a fetus. Most women discover they're pregnant on avg. around the 8 week mark. Even at that point in time, the fetus is developing all of the major anatomical systems and can already sense pain, taste and touch.

I guess we are going to disagree I believe the womans rights supercede the unborn childs(it is not a child at this stage) since I would hate to see back street abortions taking place. @adayinothersshoes, Please consider doing the right thing in every case. Too many mistakes are made by doctors. I can think of about 10 I know of just off hand. Planned Parenthood (in my opinion) wants to create doubts in a woman's mind. If they can get you to accept abortion in one case they will break you down (eventually) in all situations. They scare (IMO) into having abortions. Most abortions are not done because the fetus has problems. That's just their lie! IMO! Peace.

@mistressoftaboo87 I'm sorry, but women don't go "into labor two seconds before the baby is born." It happens a long time before the moment of birth - many hours before, in fact. You should also research the development of a fetus. Most women discover they're pregnant on avg. around the 8 week mark. Even at that point in time, the fetus is developing all of the major anatomical systems and can already sense pain, taste and touch.

China, for example, has an extremely harsh one-child government policy, where mothers are treated barbarically by the state's officers, being forcibly aborted, with no choice at all. There are documented cases there of young mothers themselves dying from complications after forced abortions. I am for life and for choice, when it's to choose in favour of human life.

Everyone has the right to control their bodies, not just pregnant women. There are, however, limitations on our ability to control our bodies, for instance, when doing so would harm another person. At viability, if the fetus is removed from its environment, it DOES survive. That's the big difference. Yes, one of the definitions of humans is that they are animals, and the definition of animals is that they must graze off the earth in order to survive.
Like I said, PHYSIOLOGICAL INDEPENDENCE is different than financial or nutritional dependence.

Umm...really? Did you know that government funding NEVER goes to abortions? Being pro planned parenthood means PREVENTATIVE care. Planned Parenthood does more to prevent abortions than any other organization. And abortions are only 3% of what actually happens.
Women's health does matter, they are using fear and abortions in the "expose" to portray planned parenthood for something that it's not. More birth control, less abortions. Duh.

The zygote is physically separate from the mother and has all the chromosomes that define it as a unique human being.
