  • This video was made running ~21psi though without dumptube on pump..

  • ~4k in 3rd.. on pump ~24psi held to redline, on race gas ~30psi, ~28psi at redline.. Still need to get my tunes adjusted though as i switched to a dumptube a while back and stile havent gotten the tune right because i work up in mammoth. But i live in anaheim hills/YL and am here a lot, back and forth..

  • im an evo guy but i got love for stis, 30r huh, when you hit full boost??? 4000? 4200?...how much boost ya runnin, i have a built evo on an fp red 2.0 l, and full boost is about 4100, 27 peak hold about 22-23 at redline. nice car though, whereabout in socal r u im in riverside..

  • God damn I love the sound of a 30R.

  • nice man!

  • Love to hear how the driver can make the car faster in a single gear without adding mods.. If theres a way please share (excluding brake boosting

  • STILL WITH GT30 THOUGHT IT BE MORE I DONT THINK HE CAN DRIVE

  • seriously, about 4 seconds if that.. VERY fast for pump gas on the stock motor, good job!.. Do you still have this same setup/car? noticed this video is a bit older..

  • 60-100 in like 4 secs

    nice..

  • @scubbipower07 thanks, yea it really hauls ass, espeically on c16..

  • dude thats slow as fuck i have a gt30R too you should get help haha

  • @samem86 Id be more than happy to race your "30R" for some cash anyday youd like. I live in SoCal so if you're in the area put your money where your mouth is. ;)

  • @Stimo3

    told.!

  • nice

  • idk why that seemed rather slow for a gt3076 same turbo i got, i wonder how much boost he is running?

  • low 20's i think?

  • @11jstedm. That does make sense, and i suspect a conservative tune on the rich side.

  • @11jstedm yea 20psi when i did this run.. i now have a built motor with the wastegate dumping to atmosphere, and i run 23psi on pump now with the built motor instead of 20, and 30psi on race instead of 27-28.. Made 497whp on 28psi so i should be a bit over 500whp now.

  • Hey stimo3, Just wandering, you running an EJ20 or EJ25. I've got an EJ20 (UK) and i was thinking about getting the 30R but not sure about the spool time and figures on the EJ20.

    Wonderful car by the way

  • an EJ257 is in that car.

  • I think that's recirc'd.

  • @AznxPrince yes in the video it recirculated into the DP but now i have it dumping to atmosphere..

  • loud azz turbo

  • Should I be happy with my dyno numbers?

My hotside 30R sti made 407 whp and 340 wtq on a mustang dyno after 5 consecutive runs with an outside temp of 100 F ( Florida )

    93 Oct at 21 lbs

And the guy tuned it for free.

Mods include a perrin kit, rails, inj, all the good stuff except for meth.

The motor has new pistons and only pistons.

Should have stroked and cammed it but wasnt thinking at the time :(

  • All dyno numbers read differnt so dont go by dyno numbers go by how it feels. I just raced my buddy with same setup as me, only he was running a 100oct race gas tune running 24psi and me on my pump gas running ~21psi, and since he was tuned so damn conservative i pulled on him. To top it off he put down 30whp more than i did..

So dont go by the dyno numbers, best way to tell how much power ur car is making is to go to the 1/4 and see what you run.

  • 07 gears ftmfw

  • no. Those are 04-06 gears. 4th gear ending ~100=short gearing. The 07 4th ends around 120-122.

  • turbo back exhaust sti with pro tune pulled on my friends 03 zo6 by a car he has power programer full exhaust and k&n filter and that was from a 30mph roll imagine from a digg not bad for a 4 door 4 cylinder car

  • THat's fast

  • You can get better gearing... do your research and it can happen. After all the 07 Sti has much better gearing then our 04-06 STi's. Anything is possible... I'm sure you could do it. After seeing this video I'm getting more excited about bolt ons on the STi. But I like turns more then straights. Shit, what to choose?!!!

  • I know you can get better gearing.. Either PPG or the new 07 revised 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gears.. I'd like to just do the 07 gears but for all the parts it's ~1500 plus all the time in labor i'd have to do.. Maybe in the future, but the 07 gears would DEFINATELY make a good difference in the 1/4..

  • F the 07 gears. The 04-06 transaxles are so much more fun to drive.

  • I dont regret it one bit, but i like to race.. When you see the look on the owners face of a new 500HP zo6 when you're over a car ahead of him from 0-110 and he has his wife in the car and im with my friend, and im running a very conservative pump gas map, IMO it's money well spent. If i had a race gas tune i'd be deep into the 11's.. 10's if i had better gearing..

  • IF

  • @rangerssuck20 No longer an IF, hasnt been for over a year and a half, sorry to burst your bubble.. now it does run mid-high 10's at high 120's-130ish..

  • yeah, an 11 second stock z06 really think much of your 30K + another 30K and your labor to make it pass a stock vette.

I don't know if you have ever heard of th einternet, but look up Lingenfelter performance, Vettes that run 3.5, 9 1/4 mile, and 210+mph. There for sale about 80k Yeah I bet your evo could do that with some basic bolt ons.LOL

  • LOL, more like 11K, not 30K.. haha.. Ur crazy bud, i could have done it for 7-8K too if i wouldnt have been so damn lazy nd would have done some of the installs myself, but i didnt care at the time. So more like a 40K dollar car bating a new 505hp zo6 on a conservative pump gas tune.. Race gas tune is comming in another month so we'll see how that goes.

  • @cmmathes first off its a 10 second 30k car plus ~20k in parts/labor to make it this fast, so im at ~45-50K, smoking cars that cost 250K.. and actually ill SMOKE a stock 505hp zo6 on just pump gas! Thats great that a TT vette can beat a single turbo 4cyl. i sure hope it could, its running bigger turbos and the motors 3 times the size! U ever heard of the internet? they have top fuel drags that run high 4's thatll SMOKE your 80K vette and they;re for sale to. so whats your point retard? lol

  • That is fast, but dam it must of been expensive to do that turbo upgrade and tune. I don't know if it's worth the money. I'm either thinking that or a bad ass suspension makeover on my Stage 2 STi.

  • If you do the labor yourself and dont buy all brand new parts you could do it for prolly around 5-6K dollars, but i wanted all brand new parts, etc.. cuzim weird like that.. But honestly if i wouldnt have dont the labor myself it wouldnt have been too bad, but with all new parts and paying for the labor (which prolly costs half of it) it came out to roughly 12K..

  • I agree. all you need is cobb stage 2= 1800. turbo 1500. injectors, fuel pump= 800. Front mount intercooler 1200 and a pro tune and you have Z06 Hp in a 4 cylinder. But I would upgrade brakes and suspension to handle that power personally.

  • very good :)

  • Awesome
