  • The object ball curves. It does not jump over the ball.

  • is the path of the object ball curved around the blocking ball or does the object ball jump off the rail and over the edge of the blocking ball? With dead level cue no english it seems that the collision induced side spin is all that's needed if it really is a curve shot.
