@brayam12345 females r actually plakats and they have smaller fins than the males

If he can still wrap around her, it should be fine. Just make sure she isn't an aggressive female because sometimes the males are wimps.

yes and its even better cuz if the female is too small the male might kill it when he squeeze the female

OMG MY FEMALE ALMOST KILLED MY MALE BETTA!!!! My male HAD amazing fin so big and nice but when i put him with my 7 females in 20Gallon community tank the male made bubblenest and evrything was good for 2 days but then 1 of my females ripped my males WHOLE TAIL OFF!!! he almost died! hi's fins are totally ripped off! :((

Nope! it is a natural behavior. However, showing him a female will induce him to build above and beyond his normal nest, as he shall be preparing for hundreds of fry.

Yup. Eventually they had about 50 eggs, but Apollo ate them all up before they got a chance to hatch...
