ugh they can never get my veins, every time they take blood it sucks. only since i got diagnosed though that's the weird thing. trying to get on charity care for remicade right now, sounds like a fun process, all i care about is finding something that works though.
you should look up a chinese herb called ho sho wu it restores hair and I think it could regulate an overactive immune system but takes a couple months to see results. I also experience pain from colitis even after remicade so I drink fenugreek tea it also good for hair and the digestive system and so is american ginseng. I've been looking into herbs hoping one day they will free me from conventional medication they say remicade doesn't have long term effects but you never know.
You may want to mention that it tough to stay asleep during the infusion because you are constantly being woken up for blood pressure, pulse and temperature. Kind of frustrating when you are trying to stay comfortable.
Isn't Remicade a medicine from the 70s that they recently started using again? I remember when I went through medications in the early 2000s they didn't even mention it.

Do you have a family history of the IBD?
