  • im sure you know.. but why are you on carpet

  • that carpet looks so plush, I love it

  • Your a bit wobbly maybe you should not do it on carpet you may hurt yourself, and maybe you need to break in the shank some more, your releve' to demi pointe is a bit stiff but apart from that its nice :) <3

  • These shoes are doing nothing for your feet...I can tell you have pretty decent arches but these are just not good on you

  • pretty pretty feet:)

  • I hate those shoes with a passion, the shank is too hard and they KILL your feet if you don't have proper padding and by that i mean like 3 ouch pouches on.lol jk, but still they're uncomfortable, I like chacott Veronese better, they're so comfy!

  • She´s not making a full practice in the carpet.. shes just making a video..!

  • Doesn't it hurt wearing them ? :>

  • Oh baby, you're a treasure! But it's difficult to tell here.

You shouldn't be doing this kind of magic on shag carpeting, darling. You need that traditional hardwood surface.

You've got a damn fine en Pointe. And nicely defined leg muscles. Just try working your magic on some hardwood, eh? Doing pointework on carpet is like.... trying to dance on quicksand.

  • I must tell you this. You have beautiful feet and arches. I think this is fate so willed. I was at the ballet's true I do not know too much, but it your movements are very uncertain. If you were in general not to be afraid.

    Well done

  • I have the same pointe shoes!

  • ich habe die selben... was für zehn schoner benutzt du... uder gar keine

  • I wish people would stop going about her stopping her pointe practice on carpet. I believe she is perfectly capable of reading and she probably knows that it is bad. But do you even think she cares if she is still doing it? How about if she has no hardwood in her house? Huh?! What is she to do then? Nothing, eh!? So shut your trap about it then!

  • I envy your beautiful feet. I wish mine are as wonderful as yours!

  • You have an awesome arch, but it is never good for your feet or your shoes to go on pointe on carpet. Stick to hard surfaces! :)

  • You're pointe work is great, I've new Sansha's (Recitals) too, but they aren't yet break in so much. .. :D

  • emm i have a question and i would really really appreciate it if any one could write back with some advice.

my first two pairs of pointe shoes have been sanshas and i have quite strong feet but not an amazing arch i have already tired on bloch but they just dont suit my foot shape

i need a new pair and i want something to flatter my arch or make my feeet look more arched (im not sure if thats possible) anyway if anyone could write back ith some advice i would be reallly grateful thankyou <3

    i h

  • His lap of walking is great, perfect! Congratulations ;)

  • you have beautiful feet!! I am definitely jealous. however, these shoes are not giving them justice. find ones that contour more to your arch on the bottom of your foot as well as the top, it will be much more flattering. good work though :)

  • Your feet are so beautiful!

  • okay thanks im exited im getting them today!

  • Hi, on saturday im getting new sansha recitals do you like yours im a beginer in pointe but this is my 2nd pair I started pointe about a month and a half ago and my others already died do u think sansha recitals are good for me?

  • @4evrLyrical Hi, i I also have sansha Recitals, they're hard to rbeak in, so I think they're good for you ;)

  • Please never do this on carpet u could get really hurt! =(

  • neverr practice on the carpet. thats so bad for you!

they look a little tight though. maybe try not pulling the drawstrings tight?

  • @LauraLuvzyz202 Could you please tell me why carpet is so bad? I don't know it... :$

  • something doesn't look right.

i think your shoes are broken in wrong =[

  • Ok, your feet are insanely beautiful lol.

    Seriously i'm jealous.

  • please stop practicing on carpet- you're going to hurt yourself! Also, make sure you roll through the shoe. When you're on pointe, your feet look amazing but the arch of your foot is not connected to the arch of the shoe. If you break in the 3/4 pointe of the shoe that will fix that problem and make the shoes work a lot better for you! good luck!

  • hey why are you doing couroues backwards your back leg should always move first and they should be small sharp movements,

  • Hehe chica stop doin ur super good pointe work on carpet---- I fear for your poor ankles

  • they look like gaynors. but i got sanshas and hated them . they look good on you though !

  • I know someone who has thoseee.

  • this is gonna sound weird... But your hands are doing funny things. Relax them, don't scrunch.

  • haha. i was noticing that too!

  • oooo prettyyyyy

  • You need to remember to roll through your feet, and practice on harder floor. Carpet really isn't good.

  • i know

  • I wouldnt do point on carpet if i were you......its too dangerous :D

  • Woah! Nice Shoes! and Feet!

  • beautiful arches in ur feet.

  • After viewing your dead pointe shoe vids and this one I am wondering if you aren't sewing your ribbons too high towards your heel or breaking in the shoe incorrectly? It seems like no matter what your arch is popping out, which is good because you must have a nice arch in there but the shoe isn't going with it. I suggest finding that point in the shoe when you stretch while siting and marking it then bending the shoe there and see if that helps. It could really enhance that beautiful arch!

  • im not trying to be rude im just asking but dont they say not to practice on carpet??? your really good on pointe! :)

  • you have very nice dance legs

  • i never liked sansha

  • beautiful arches

  • NIce work!

I had a nice pair of pointe shoes a while a go, but I lost them - Dunno where thy went!? Anyway, im considering of buying new ones, but I'm not quite sure what to look for (Size, width etc.) I don't remember the size of the old shoes, but the width was something similiar to 3x I think? MY normal footwear size is 43 - What size is that in pointe shoes? CAn anyone please help me?

  • Could it be something close to 8 1/2 ?

  • well, it really depends on what kind of shoe you get. they all have different sizing. but just go to a store wer they fit shoes and they can help you. do you remember wher you got blisters and where they got the most worn in? tell them. it will help! oh, and tell them the brand of shoes you had. if you liked those, ask for them again

  • Hey everyone! I am new to pointe and i have posted a few videos on my channel that I would love for you to check out and comment on! Any advice, tips is welcome. Just let me know what I do well and what i need to work on and I'll return the favors if you'd like!

  • yes they're really hard...my teacher didn't understand why I couldn't go on the platform properly until she had a look on my shoes...she laughed !!!

  • don't do pointe on carpet... not good for your feet...other wise, pretty good.

  • jesus christ break in that shank

  • those are some less than lovely shoes. lol

    the other ones look better.

  • these do NOT fit your feet

  • yeah, they really dont,

  • get your shoes fit by a professional cuz they dont fit you at all

  • I think the shoes are wrong for you. The shanks seems a little too stiff for you, and despite the great turnout, you are having trouble hitting the demipointe with them. Maybe find a slightly different fit to suit your foot better. :)

  • They are not broken in yet so she wouldnt be able to to hit demi pointe the shanks of course are suppose to be stiff!

  • you feet are perfect! Just work on getting some hyperextention in your legs.:)

  • your turnout is simply amazing well done keep on dancing. i am sure you have a future ahead of you x

  • Those shoes are very flattering to your feet but you look like a very good and determined dancer! Keep hunting for that "perfect shoe" Ok! Good luck!

    Love a fellow dancer!

  • you need new shoes, these don't fit your foot at all!

  • The only reason your arches look good is because you didn't stich the alasticks tight enough. Or you need to tighten the draw strings and ribbons if that doesn't work.

  • Those shoes arches aren't good...they've begun to break in the wrong spot (from what I saw, too low on the shank) and your fifth is pretty bad...your feet should be ask close to parallel as possible. and when you tie your pointe shoes make sure you are pointing your feet while you tie them to prevent the loose ribbon (bubbles).

  • You need to work on landing in a tight fifth. it looks like a third, but no one uses third. but i want your arches!! no fair!

  • u need to sew your ribbons farther back towards the ankle thats why they are bubbling

  • im frm new zealand and i dont no wer 2 get any other type of pointe shoe frm, olny blochs and i realy want 2 try an other kind.

  • your arches are way to high for sanshas =S

  • i use grishko and the shanks are pretty hard, they look nice on the feet aswell a few of the girls in my class have them. ive had mine for about 6 months now, and the shanks still pretty solid. xxxxx

  • fifth is not optional

  • what?

  • Sansha has the plastic sticks that you can put in the shank, do you use them and what do you thing of them? Reinforced it is near impossible to roll up.

  • I can't use them.. I can never break them in enough to shove the sticks all the way in, and my arches are so.. so.. MUCH that they can't use the shoes for too long or else I literally fall over.. do you get what I'm trying to say? Lol when I'm usually done with the shoes, I've pretty much broken them in for someone else to use, and then when they are dead for them, thats when I could prolly shove the sticks in.. but idk how they would feel.. have you used them?

  • i never break mine in enough to use the sticks, either..

the boxes usually die on me before the shanks do.

  • ACK you have amazing arches!! i'm so jealous!!! <3

  • i have the same kind...were yours kinda hard to break in?

  • no.. lol my feet are so powerful that they are broken in in no time... true.. my feet are pretty.. but OH THEY ARE A PAIN TO FIND POINTE SHOES FOR!!!! Sansha is the hardest shank I can find in my price range... so yeahh.. HELP!! (and I didn't mean to brag or anything in this comment.. love you guys!!)

  • have you used the replacement shanks? im sorta confused O.o lol

  • I use Bloch and they have pretty hard shanks

  • @PointeBallerina have your tried grishko? theyre really hard....i have the same problem as you

  • @PointeBallerina fuzi pointe shoes are just like sansha's there a dream love em' try fuzi's are $20 dollars and $7 dollars for post & packaging if you buy brand new from ebay all together $27 is £16.58 British pounds

  • THEY LOOK TO BIG

  • c'éat énervant tu ne reste jamais sur tes pointes, on a l'impression que tu ne maitrise pas ton coup de pied

  • thx for commenting.. but can i have a translator? lol sry! what language is that?

  • Sorry I can't translate a correct vocabulary of danse into english...I'm french, and i love your arches but why you don't stay on your pointes ? you always return on half pointes, but it's just a details ! You're a good dancer

  • lol yeahh.. I had a feeling that it was french;-) but thx so much!! and yes, I go up, and I roll down through half point.. if that's what you mean:D

  • Because your arches are going over so much try to straighten your knees more. But great job!

  • Don't dance on carpet it hurts your feet and you can't get proper position. Also break your shoes in.

  • you shouldnt dance on carpet it doesnt look right. you are sinking into the flooryou need 2 break into them still

  • id love to see it without the shoes

  • Your feet look as if they are trying to escape from the shoes. Lovely arch, but as others have said the shoes aren't complementing your feet, perhaps they need breaking in some more :)

  • ya...nice feet and the arch...but you gotta straighten your knees!

  • The blochs are AMAZING on your feet! Keep them!!

  • umm they are sanchas..

  • yes, I'm aware this pair is, but she has videos with her feet in Bloch's and i liked them a lot more.

  • some teacher put them in stronger shoes so they dont have to buy as many

  • Wow, you have great feet! I looked at your bio thingy, and saw that you are a Christian...so am I! It's great to have some Christians on this site. I also love ballet! Thanks for posting the video! Take care, and God bless!

  • WOW! Me too! I also love ballet! I use dance as a form of worship for God!

  • u have a great arch and your shoes dont show it off. i dont no whether its cos u havent broken them in properly. try grishkos

  • nice feet! Now look at mine!

  • LOVELY! those shoes are wonderful for you. your feet are AMAZINGLY archy. its lovely. i really enjoyed it! try not to do pointe on the carpet thoughh... it could hurt your ankles or even your shoes. keep it up!!<333

  • Very well done! I'm glad to see you have a new shoe that supports you much better! Have you ever considerd Russian Pointes? They aren't comfortable at first, but they work wonders! Now, People with a more developed arch such as yours have something I like to call "Banana Feet." its not a bad thing, but it just means you need to work on strengthening your meet much more than working on anything else. Working with therabands daily cn really help. =0)

  • ok so no offfense or anything but ur getting kinda full of ur self with da title......and yes u do have nice feet! ur shoes dont compliment ur feet like they should....maybe u should cut da shank so it would look a lol nicer...and dont dance on carpet...and maybe its just me but it looks like ur ribbons are VERY tight so ya thats all!

  • don't go on pointe with ur knees bent. or on carpet. idk ow 2 say this, but your shoes don't comlpiment your arch as they are "sagging"

  • Carpet will ruin your shoes.

  • Your ribbons would give more suport if they were farther forward.

  • Your feets are very good, but you have to stretch more your toes. And you have to stretsh your legs when you're on pointe.
