This is a gd vid and all but it's saying only the worst case scenario, on halloween I wore some red contacts and passed out in them and my eyes were fine, I mean I wasn't stupid enough to share them around or spit in them but still in the morning my eyes had no pain or redness or anything.

It can happen.. I've been taking care of my purple contact lenses very well.. and went to work with them, had them on all day. And seeing how it was new years, i was up all night and morning. I fell asleep for maybe 2 and a half hours, maybe more, forgeting I had them in. When I woke up, they felt a little dry, but was still okay. I waited 'til I went to work that same morning to take them out. Nothing really happened at all.. but it is still possible.

I use coloured lenses for my work and what this guy says is bullshit! Yes, if the lens is old or from someone else this could happen. Or if the lens isn't clean, yes this could happen. But if you just take good care of your lenses and keep them clean and don't let other people use them, you will be just fine. They are just like regular lenses. Always test if your eyes can handle contactlenses.

So, what this guy is saying is bullshit, and this video is just a waist of time!

No. The person with the red eyes probably didn't need even use halloween contacts. The only way to get that red with contacts is to sleep in them at least three days in a row without taking them out or moving them in any position in any way.

The biggest problem that people are having with the Halloween contacts is that they are Buying them illegally off of the internet, Do not have a prescription, and they do not know how to take care of them. The ones most often sold easily and Illegally are made in china, of cheep material and not sterile.

No, it's not fake, it could happen if you don't take good care of both your lenses and your eyes. DO NOT give your lenses to anyone even to just try on. You're asking for big problems, like germs, for one. And if you do let someone borrow your lenses, do not put them back on when they give them back -- you need to either clean them or change to a whole new pair.
