If you can ever find it, he performed this with his band at SXSW on March 15, 2000--great performance, although I also love the intimacy of just Elliott with his guitar for this song.

He only kept this song in his set for a couple of weeks. but at some point, he did record it. Whether we'll ever hear the studio version is hard to know, at this stage of the game.
