  • The fashion in highest expression

  • who got the HQ edition?I ve benn waiting for 4 years!

  • Next to his 2007 origami Butterfly collection, this is still the best collection of Galliano's entire career. Holy mother of God... the look, the workmanship. This show had established Galliano's Dior to what it was.

I have yet to see this level of extravagance and operatic drama on the runway. It was the most spectacular thing ever.

I love how the American flag gown walks btw - like a huge bell.

  • tits

  • I love that Karolina is never too over the top like the other KK (Karlie Kloss)

  • Meu Deus!!!!!maravilhoso trabalho!!!

  • @nahyank That price doesn't even come close. Donald Trump's wife wore the last dress to her wedding and it was around a reported $250,000 USD.

  • CD's 2004 HC (both spring and fall) was really fucking fierce, non?

  • This is like a rock concert to me :D ....love Couture

  • Dolce&Gabbana have the best designed handbags. (GirlieRewards, INF0)

  • I will forever miss Haute Couture like this. Even John can't make it like this anymore.

  • actually i wonder what motivate Galliano to make both Haute Couture shows in 2004 such luxurious... <3<3<3<3 !!!!!!!!!!

  • The Girl Cant Help It - Little Richard An Eye For Optical Theory - Michael Nyman Concerto in C Minor for Two Harpsichords, BWV 1060: II. Adagio - J.S. Bach Tutti Frutti - Little Richard Wheelbarrow Walk - Michael Nyman Lucille - Little Richard Knowing the Ropes - Michael Nyman Great Balls of Fire - Jerry L Lewis Prawn Watching - Michael Nyman & Michael Nyman Band and Orchestra Nut Rocker - B. Bumble and the Stingers
  • oohlalaa x

  • has anyone the tracklist ????

  • one of my favourite shows of John, I think a big part of what makes his shows great is the music. Opulent, decadent, extravagant, so beautiful.

  • DIVINE!!!!

  • WOW. The confidence in those dresses and models!!!! All of it was so powerful! THIS is fashion!

  • i really love the swinging dress at 7:11

    <3

  • the dreses are amazinz

  • Oneiric Divine Unique Pure Art ... Just GALLIANO.

  • This is moving art. Lovely! :)

  • Real queens! Genius.

  • How did Karolina managed to walk, even dance in that?!

  • I wonder what Karl Lagerfeld is thinking when he watches these shows...

  • @HappyMyTime PROBABLY BARFS

  • @HappyMyTime Jealousy.

  • O ishedonism,

Can you help me get my hands on this amazing soundtrack?

I would greatly appreciate it :)

  • those are some really fabulous queens

  • The more I think of it, the less I appreciate the more "wearable" couture shows Galliano has done in later years. While incredibly beuatiful they don't have the magic that these pre-2005 shows have. The new look feels very dated, we want more of your inimitable innovation, Galliano!

  • exactly.. the collections hes doing recently are amazing.. but they lack what these shows had... which i know are some of my fave collectiones ever...the onyl thing i disagree with you is that i think its pre spring 2007... liek form that down and previous they had sparkle maybe not so much spring 2005 but certainly fall 05 and 06 .... but your right.. they are beautiful the more wearable and in the economic climate he needs to create wearable couture .. but they lack something these shows had.

  • Oh yes, the SS07 couture was certainly an something extraordinary, if not my one most favorite shows yet.

And oh yes, unless you've already read this it explains the more demure Dior we've seen in later years. It is not a turn of Galliano's creative mind, just corporate bullsh*it. Probably what made Slimane leave DH.

  • oh kind of make sense tbh... like why would galliano just lose all creativeness..

but yeh.. shame this has happened tbh.. but least he has galliano to be himself :) which he certainly is.

  • Such amazing gowns! Beautiful. Now I have "Girl Can't Help It" in my head. :)

  • Did he design the crowns as well???

Good god! Galliano is a GOD!!!

  • He would have co-designed them with stephen jones. :) who does all the hats for Galliano and Dior :)

  • God! this is my personal favorite Dior Couture Show, it is just overwhelming. I am so inspired!!!!

  • haute couture is just art right? its nothing to wear on a wedding right??

  • Haute couture absolutely is an art form, but it can be worn for special occasions, like weddings. I believe it was the Trump's latest bride who wore a dress from this collection for their wedding.

On a side note, I love this mix! A-womp-bomp-a-loo-ma-ba-lomp-bam-boom!

  • yeah

    she wore the finale dress

  • wow, she must b super-rich ... lol ... anyway, there was also a woman (actress, i guess, dunno her name) who wore the dress from 7:52 on red carpet, widout the silver embroidery ... ... ... it still luked gud ... ... ... XD

  • I love how the first model moves, so sensual, untouchable.

  • yeah cause she's a Victoria Secret's model

  • @dolce7188 karolina kurkova definitely rocked it!

  • god i wish i had the money to buy those dresses to hang as art....

lucky models get to wear them D:

  • Does anyone know the name of the classical piece of music at the end? Its driving me crrazy!

  • Wheelbarrow Walk by Michael Nyman

  • i am not dising. this happens to be one of my favourite collections. I am just nit picking which means it's good!

  • Comment removed

  • thats great, there are many people here who work in the industry lol.. why are you dising Dior couture in the first place, watch and fucking appreciate it

  • The first song is : The Girl Cant' Help It-by Little Richard -

The Another song is : Tutti Frutti -by Little Richard -

  • OMG,

amazing this different queens and their outfit.

for me ana beatriz is the most exiting queen. she reigns with beauty and grace...lovely

  • Shameless.

  • some this pieces look better static than when they are walking. Who ever said that in couture that they don't use sewing machines is an idiot. They will use a combination of hand sewing and machines.

  • what? the entirity of couture is hand sewn! not a single machine... well maybe the steamer... but seriously.. you come across smug but dont know the facts :s

  • Karolina Kurkova, Adina Fohlin, Ana Beatriz, Morgane Dubbled, Elise Crombez, Erin O'Conner Amazing Show!

  • oooo the second models walk was atrocious same with the one at 4:35

omg 6:50 the way her dress moves is sooo funny

  • i can see these as wedding gowns, so much detail, i live for dior couture. so beautiful.

  • the first one was cute lol when she walked i thought she was going to fall lol

  • I wish i could see more of Karolina Kurkova on high fashion runways. The only time i get to see her now is the VS fashion show once a year.

  • agree, she is younger or the same age than Raquel Zimmermann and we still see Raquel working the biggest shows

  • best year ever

  • Do you know where I can get this video on high definition?

  • anyone know the name of this clip of music from 1:27? or is it just part of the remix?

  • It is "An Eye for Optical Theory" by Michael Nyman

    Hope that helped

  • one of the most amazing shows of all time - i wrote this note to reuters lol - It was terribly mean to call Ms. Kurkova a lingerie model "LOS ANGELES (Reuters Life!) Lingerie model Karolina Kurkova has been voted the world's sexiest woman by E! entertainment television, beating sultry actresses Angelina Jolie and Scarlett Johansson for the honor." Ms. Kurkova is the greatest high fashion model of the early 00s, since Ms. Moss.

  • i am in love with this show from john galliano!

one of his best collections for dior!

  • What is the name of the harpsichord classical piece playing from 3:00 - 4:00?

  • By The Munich Bach Orchestra, Karl Richter, Hedwig Bilgram - Song Called Adagio From Concerto For Two Harpsichords and Orchestra in C Minor

  • Thank you... Thank you... Thank you, I start design school this fall and I wanted to use that particular piece in a fashion show!!!

  • ... the dress in 2:20 was used for "what you waiting for? - gwen stefani's" music video as a dress for the red queen ...

  • Probly one of the greatest dior shows.

  • I love how the gown at 6:55 Moves its amazing! and Nadejda Savcova works it sooo well!

  • does anyone know whats the prices for these dresses or where one can find them, i think they would cost around $5000+ but i wanna know the acual prices...thanx.

  • You should make an appointment at the Dior boutique on Ave. Montaigne.

  • are fucking serious?

    like....... are you for serious?

you must be. 5000 at least for a dress....... that dress..... those dresses..... right there.....

    youre nuts.

  • Get in the real world

a Couture Dress costs upwards of £100,000 maybe more

Couture is all handmade and made to order for a very small amount of people NO machines in sight the only machine they have is a steam iron thats it !!!!!

  • i was meaning that. i wasn't saying i was shocked someone would say they were 5000. i was questioning how ridiculous that comment someone left asking if they cost that much.

read it again sweetheart. all sarcasm..... trust me..... i know my haute, and i know that paying upwards of 100000 is expected.

  • and SWEETHEART i know Haute couture aswell . you dont have to get snappy with me because i can bite back aswell , i was only answering what i thought was a question

  • These dresses as they're shown on the runway are easily over $50,000, and that's probably an underestimate. With all of the fur, fabric, embroidery, corsetry and hand painting/dying of the fabrics I wouldn't be surprised if these dresses were closer to the $100k mark.

  • some of these dresses would reach the $£80,000 mark gotta be more! the last dress has to be at least 125,000 mark

  • a couture dress like that would be about 100,000 whereas like a pantsuit would be closer to 20,00 or a blouse like 10,000. but most of those are about 100,000 casue of the embroidery and feathers and everything

  • The Final dress aka The Wedding Dress is said to be £250,000 priced because Crystals are embroidered into it the silk is the finest in the world

  • @nahyank $5000 dont even come close..these dresses can easily exceed 6 figures

  • @nahyank cute when you think haute couture clothes will be around 5000, and especially when you're talking about Dior.

  • @nahyank Hey, I know this response is a bit late but I think I can answer your question quite well! The dresses themselves can cost around $100,000 USD. Haute Couture pieces can become extremely expensive especially if embroidered as these dresses are. It would be hard to find a Dior ready-to-wear dress for only $5,000! My knowledge of this comes from the fact that I have purchased a few Haute Couture (Chanel and Dior) pieces myself (bragging not intended). Hope this helps and cheers!

  • @nahyank Uhrmm..... $5000+...........try $100,000 +.... with that much silk, embroidery and workmanship.. your looking at a VERY expensive dress...

  • @nahyank a basic garments is 10,000 dollars such as basic blouse these dresses are easil 50,000 to 100,000 dollars

  • @nahyank a basic garments is 10,000 dollars such as basic blouse these dresses are easily 50,000 to 100,000 dollars

  • @gradusm actually THESE types of DRESSES can cost up to $100,000 -$1,000,000

    a SUIT can cost $10,000-$50,000

  • @nahyank lol

  • @nahyank For 5 000 $ you could a simple pret-a-porter jacket or jacket + skirt and pre-a-porter dresses are around 10 000 $, Couture is like 50 000 $ and can exceed to six figures.

  • OMG

    6:32

i wanna get married in that dress (L)

nayone know the name of that model??

  • omg i know its one of my favourites and Irina bondarenko (the model) is so beautiful! i love her in the dior s/s 2007 couture show :)

    hope that helps :)

  • thanks hun

    i know shes amazingg

  • i want to be john soo bad!!!1

    or better!!!

  • his designs are a dream!

  • Honestly the most gorgeous collection I have seen yet. <3

So beatuiful, I love the looks of the models too :) <3

I have this in higher quality too if anyone wants it-- I can put a link if you'd like.

  • EXQUISITE !!!!

  • was karolina suppose to be dancing?

  • I think she was trying in a very cool way to keep her balance... she did it NICE

  • That first dress looks like its very hard to walk!!

  • Karolina looks amazing :P

  • I saw these dresses at the V&A couture exhibition, they were pretty amazing but also pretty ridiculous. It's very strange cause I'm blown away by the pure extravagence of it all and find it quite beautiful but also find it a bit ugly at the same time. It really makes you question taste and beauty which is a good thing but these models do look like drag queens.

  • the dresses are art!!!!

i dont know what drag queens you have seen but theyd wish they look like that!!

i doubt youd look better in those dreses

  • God can't I have an opinion?! I'm just saying that I don't think that is Gallianos best show, it's lovely and it's clever cause it makes you question beauty and taste, but for all of that credit it gets a bit repetative cause it's just 28 beautifully decorated and extravagant dresses.

  • fantastic! im speechless! i watched this show like 10 times oredi but nvr get bored of it~ and i love Karolina Kurkova!

  • thanks she´s not are my coco but deam!! she´s really hot!!!

  • i think this royal elegance and opulence of galliano are one good razon for he direct the house of Dior... just amazing just art and elegance...

  • Noooooooo i´m sure thats its coco rochas i dont find any diference...

  • No, that model is Kat... Coco's firts show un Dior Haute Couture was in Spring Summer 2007 Couture

  • its the girl of the 5:47 coco rochas??????

  • no its not, all i kno is that its Kat something lol no help i know but hey lol xx

  • this fashion show is my influence for my final major project this year in college

  • amazing royal theme

  • I want Karolina back on the runway!

  • Me too, she is young (24 yr old), she should be on the runway, if Carmnen Kass is there, i cant see why Karolina can't!!

  • who is the third model? any1 know?

  • I think its Elena R. not sure tho

  • yeh i found out it is, :) love her!!! xxxx thankyu x

  • can this show have a more spectacular soundtrack and opening sequence?

  • can this show have a more compelling sountrack mix and oppening sequence!

  • in love in love in love with this

  • im in love with this

  • Gawd. Makes me sad that I'm not brilliant. Cheers, John Galliano!

  • and the last song in part 2?

  • What's the first song?

The one that says "Can't help it, girl can't help it" or something like that.

I've been trying to find the title of this song but I can't find it

  • little richard "Can't help it, girl can't help it"

  • All the songs used in this show are by Lile Richard! Awesome!

  • Actually it is Little Richard - The Girl Can't Help It

Fergie used the chorus in her "Clumsy" song.

  • really? wow.. i didn't know that..

anyway, I LOVE THIS SHOW BIG TIME!

  • Hahaha Yeah!

This show is from January 2004, I guess.

Anyway, The Dutchess, Fergie's album it's like from 2006 or 2007 haha

There's no way it is her song.

    J. Galliano always knows how to make a good couture show, his creations are amazing.

  • Dior should go back to making shows like this!

  • J'adore couture! Merci beaucoup
