It is true we should be very thankful and I also love to cook and there is cook books that have low carb ideas for example: Lo-carb cuisine just a thought..love rosemary
I totally agree! Even though society has come a long way to recognizing depression as a disease, alcoholism, drug addiction...but obesity and food addiction are not treated equally with those. However, I do see (I hate to admit it) reality shows such as the "Biggest Loser" and "Celebrity Fit Club", as signs of the beginning of recognition.
I agree-I think a charity is a great idea. But people look at obesity very strangely. Most people don't recognize it as a true medical problem--they just think obese people should exercise and eat less and that's the magical equation. I think it's a superb idea but I don't know if society is ready to accept it. Great topic!
