that is a mello, but its one of the weird shaped ones like the one on wikipedia, the one i use in school looks like a bioggger trumpet

it's a mellophone alright but its a Bb mellophone, I have one it's kinfa wierd because the normal ones are in F

mellophones aren't made in Bb. only in F alto. marching french horns are made in Bb and F alto. this could be a bugle in G.... the camera shots don't allow me to see it well.

They can vary a lot in size/shape, but this one is at an extreme if it is one.
