Ha ha ha, we got into a tuk tuk during the day in Bangkok and it was relativley calm but at night they race everyone its so funny! The heavier you are as a westerner the faster they go around corners HA HA HA!

They are great fun but it's a shame you have to either take a much unappreciated trip to all the Arab tailors on your journey or pay much more. My and my mates were there for the King's 80th, it was great, all tuk tuks were 10 baht. We had a driver give us a trip to all the sights over several hours then he asked for 10 baht from each of us. We gave him 100 but still, how cheap was that.
