  • Wow, Donald Byrd was A LOT younger here. Byrd came to my school last year and our band opened up for him. My band director told us about Guru and how he passed away and he read his last words to us and it was so sad. R.I.P. Guru. I don't like hip-hop, but he didn't use fake talent. I respect him greatly for that.

  • lol, Gangstarr is the name of the group which consisted of him and Dj Premier. They were putting out albums before and in between Guru's Jazzmatazz albums.
