Palin´s favorite hobby horse is railing against crony capitalism. It´s a term she picked up somewhere and doesn´t know its meaning. So it´s not surprising she should come out supporting Gingrich who is the penultimate poster-boy for crony capitalism and corruption in government. Gingrich spent the last decade being paid by big business to convince conservatives to support big-government policies that would profit his clients. Palin obviously sees Gingrich as a model for her own greedy pursuits.
