I havn't uploaded anything.. I'm with you as far as being on the fence about deleting my youtube....for now I'm trying to get familiar with the zippcast but I look forward to making the switch...I'm going to stop using google chrome all together as well.

I'm hoping that the site speeds up tho....its the only downfall

Google isn't close to being done with us yet...and prepping is about scenario's...which one might arise that will have this option has a great "prep".

I have an HD 1080 camera and it only accepts low res cameras unless the video is very very small. Also the search does not work there. I do like the format like the old youtube. Google runs ads on the site. After reading the "ZippCast Privacy Notice" there doesn't seem to be much difference. Targeted advertisement.

On Zipp - go to the top URL bar - delete back and add /user/then name of channel to the zipp address

my channel will remain open for as long as i can. but i might stop uploading. im not sure what i will be doing. perhaps i will just stick with forums. im not worried about them having my info everyone already does anyhow seeing how ive filed many complaints with the gov and am an active protestor with arrests for it. it is the way they change how you use youtube and its functions that im pissed about. it will only be a little time before zipcast does the same. its only a bandaid.

@skybirdbird these changes are due to sopa and affect all forms of media not just google. every one including zipcast has to follow the new guidelines. our country gov has gone out of control and we now live in a policed state. have for awhile. good luck over at zipcast. when the war starts im on your side.
