It would have been awesome if Betty and Elaine had sung Memory together with the add-in by Sarah. Although not Betty's best performance, her intensity and emotion (she was crying by the end) brought me to tears as well. For anyone who does not like Betty's performance here, please watch her performance of Memory at the 1983 Tony awards...cold chills, anyone?

I kind of remember this show when it came out. But what was wrong with Andrew Lloyd Webber? He did not look good at all. Had he had some sort of stroke at the time? Both ladies sang very lovely.

@nnelhot Buckley allegedly was sick during this performance, why her voice so raspy. If you hear her later in other peformances she is fine again...

@Lovett19991 Brightman I thought was boring.. Buckley was sick, also this is totally cut. You are only hearing a fraction of the song... reading reviews of the time, they said Buckley stole the show. It just got her in a couple spots.. it is live after all.. you only get one try.

@karrezza I didn't mean that Sarah was something unbelievable in this version I meant her version of Memory was the best for me.I didn't know that Betty was sick. but when Sarah isn't singing Memory then I much prefer Elaine Paige.
