how can you detect a leak???? like i know when a gas is leaking you put water and it will start making bubbles that's how you know that it's leaking, know can you use this method on the HPA too???

Hey mike, my fill nipple is leaking right at it's threads (i can hear the air hissing out). i put a drop of water right where the threads are and i saw bubbles come out. i then wiped off the water. and took a wrench a tightened the nipple onto the tank. The hissing stopped. do you think its safe to use?? thanks

I use a tippmann a5 , they're safe vs liquid co2 because the guns meant for 850 psi.. and is tested at 1500 psi.. more consistant if your into speedball, but I'm a sniper, I only need one shot per second...... hpa would just be a waste of money for me considering the hpa tanks cost more then my gun :-\ ($300 for a 4500 psi carbon fiber tank) and if ya scratch a fiber tank its untrustworthy. So an icey hot patch in the winter for me co2 hehe..

I'm not in the catagory of "takes 300 shots to hit something" and I'll never play speedball, so I really dont need high pressure air.

@marineman825 I'm sorry dude you believer all markers are the same... when you look at antisyphon, or syphon tubes...yes.. syphon tubes so liquid co2 gets into an expansion chamber.. you know freezing metal dousnt hurt it.. and my guns all metal, I know this because I worked as a welder fitter. We use co2 to cool the metal so it didn't warp while cutting or welding. In fact, co2 cant cool metal to the point its brittle, its not -100 degree's, speedball guns are cheap aluminum.. use dont use co2

just throwing this out there as a bit of info, in Diesel engines, the injectors usually operate at 25,000 PSI. so 4500PSI is nothing for diesel but the point is still the same.
