  • Woooooow!!! Amazingly talented!!! :))) I hope to hear more from you and your beautiful voice!!

  • nowhere near lataji's rendition, but that is to be expected. her singing is very reminiscent of noor jehan's style. of course, nowhere near noor jehan's talent either.

    but a good attempt!

  • very very nice..very very nice...wow..

  • wow... iam impressed !!

    i applaud you... !!

  • Good work:)

  • Beautiful and breathtaking. Janice you have a potential one billion followers in the subcontinent. Their love and wishes. Keep up the great work.

  • Hi Janice, Good work. But it is true that if you learnt the language (Urdu/Hindi/Punjabi), you would enjoy the songs yourself more, and there would be a lot of feelings in the presentation. I commend you on the correctness of the pronunciation, though, which is better than some of the new Bollywood singers. Keep up the good work, and please, do make an effort to learn the language. I promise you, it will do wonders for your recitals. Good luck, Nashadraza

  • Good Job Janice, see you in Fresno on June 13th--Nice singing--PEACE-------------Dj Gurdeep

  • you are the bestttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt

  • First Time i see her on Pakistan's Tv She is wonderful leady

  • well' if it was the old days, id say shes worth 200 horses and two good rifles and two nice Damascus swords with gold hilts! then her brother or father would agree to the marriage! :)

  • and regarding the topic the language in the song is urdu , its not hindi .

hindi when spoken is not only difficult to understand due to so much words from sanskrit. hindus wanted to prove their separate identity so they put old sanskrit words into urdu . but trust me the langointhe song is pure lucknow urdu :-)

no offense against anybody , but hindi is no language , it has been made a language by hindus just to prove themselves and their seprate identity over the last 2 or 3 centuries .

  • Well Urdu is indeed a great lang...when d official persian lang married the Hindi dialects and evolved the Indo-Islamic culture .But saying that Hindi is no lang is not only foolish but grossly ignorant...what about Khusro's compos in the 12th century..r they not Hindi with 90 % sanskrit vocab..the times change and so cultures and languages..Urdu is not just d lang of Muslims ...Prem Chand n Ashq were Hindus..respect cultures and embrace them...thats what makes India what it is

  • Raia Sahib, I agree Urdu is different from Hindi, and yes Sanskrit words were added to Urdu to create Hindi. Best wishs, Imran.

  • @khatpandwa That was really funny. Why Amir Khusro wrote is Hindi and separately in Persian in 13th Century? Coz there was no Urdu that time. Indo-Islamic culture in subcontinent later evolved with great marriages in arts and languages. Urdu was born and so were Qawwali, Khayal and Tarana singing. We all love Urdu, however there is no point in comments like these.

  • @Ratnoo - I agreed - You have good knowledge. I don't mean to offend you. Best wishes to you. Imran.

  • @khatpandwa Best Wishes Imran. You seem to be a thorough gentleman and a very kind human being. Let love, respect, music and peace prevail on earth. Janice and you are perfect examples for that. Cheers..Ratnoo

  • @Ratnoo - Thanks Ratnoo. Let's enjoy the music. Imran.

  • nice attempt , hiba or janice whoever u r :-)

  • Janice, you are the most beautiful women in North America. merry me.

  • I am native speaker of Hindi and I think she has a very good Hindi accent.

  • She is singing in Urdu, Not Hindi

  • : D

  • janice is the best

  • Awesome singing!!!

  • the other clips are more recent so maybe that's why the pronounciation is better perhaps.

  • She was quite a bit better in the other video with an assortment of songs. In this song, she really needs to work on her pronounciation. With a bit of work on that, I am sure she can get some work in Mumbai. lol, she should definately try out on SaReGaMaPa, but she gotta learn a little Hindi to really get the pronounciations down right. Overall, great talent, she'll be a well known name in India someday.

  • hahahahhaha

just imazine if janice miller read your comments then what would she think ? instead of prasing my singing these LOW MENTALITY people are concentrating on language whether it's hindi or urdu !!!

    Hahhahahahahahahahhahah

  • It is correct to say this about pronounciation because if ur going to sing in another language u should atleast be able to speak it

  • well...too bad, not only am I singing in these languages, i am also making a living at it...sorry...

  • does this lady even know what she is singing about? its a respect issue

  • well done indeed.

  • belle voix merci

  • Janice

you are a beautiful singer. You have done an impossible thing: being an American and not knowing the language, but singing in Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi. What an accomplishment. I respect you as an accomplished artist. Keep on singing.

  • You sound awesome and i love this song!!

  • i really love the original with tabla better. i will sing it that way some day maybe but i appreciate your comments very much, thx again

    janice

  • ki ho gya aye ainan sarian lokan nun ,wachari beehu :)

  • totally agree with you on this:)

  • try to load authentic this song..

  • Janice you sung very well indeed. Nice share abhieha..

    Thanks a lot

  • not bad for a non hindi speaker!!

  • Hellow,,,btw. it's not Hindi but Urdu...

    regards

  • thnks for the correction!

i shud've known as im a pakistani but then again its not as if my dear fellow pakistani brothers n sisters dont ever listen to 'hindi' songs!! lolz!

  • Pakistani also listen so called "Hindi songs" but they hate when singers sings "Urdu" n call it "Hindi songs"...or actors speak dialogues in urdu but call it "Hindi movie"

    Bullshit copy cats.

    No offense...n regards:-)

  • well thts total hypocrisy, if u dnt like hindi dnt listen to it!!

btw u do know tht urdu is a compilation of many languages including hindi and before u get all offended at my comments i shud let u know tht im a pakistani too, but i just dnt like hpocrisy, 'no offence bro!'

  • Well i agree. n i have nothing against any language including Hindi, but i'm only against when u use some one else's language n say tht it's Hindi...Or u use some one else's song or composition in ur movie without acknowledging him/her then it is not the justice.

    regards

  • cooool:-)

  • thx so much! : )

  • well sung song. good luck Janice.
