Always felt bad for Rumpelstiltskin. If not for him her and her father would be in the dungeons, and she never would have been queen. And like the old saying goes "a promise is a promise".
I don't agree. If someone ever tried to take one of my children away from me, I'd castrate him and choke him with his own parts, promise or no.
But then again, I kind of think this entire story makes no sense. And wasn't the king a little bit more benevolent in this one than in the originals? >_> (Never liked the King.)
