looks like the touch screen calibration was finally fixed on the ds lite, i hope so because the one i have has horrible calibration on the lite so i got a dsi, calibration is good on it, shoulder buttons are dead.

I believe SRAM is the internal battery some games have. I'm not sure which NES games come with it, because I'm more of a SEGA fan, but on the SMS, Phantasy Star is a game which comes with a built-in battery. Perhaps Zelda on the NES?

And debug is for the developer to know where in the memory addresses, I believe, the game is fiddling. It's something end users shouldn't care about :3

i wish this emulator played Famicom disk images. Famicom Metroid is way better than NES Metroid.

@AparoidX ya...i got animanatee, animation program...beup live, msn program...a drumpad program...mario paint, it can't access the songs folder for some reason...midi jammer, kinda interesting...nds mail, email program... rpaint paint program...wintendos...these all work fine...

stuff that doesn't quite work or i haven't figured out yet is ds2win,starts fine then stops at "waiting"...dslinux, can't figure out wat to do after sign in...continue in next post...

@guitarherodude110 facebook app starts then just freezes and don't work. i gess... it says something bout libFAT or just FAT...that might have to do with the directory hardware or watev...had a few other progs that said something to that effect...can't change a 4gb card to fat16or FAT so that might be the prob for those...but for my emulators (took those off the card for now) they start but then i can't do anything cuz my roms don't show up aka i gess the emu can't find the roms in folder or out

@guitarherodude110 It won't work on th AR DSi because it does not have a DLDI file patch. It needs one to use the emulator. Thus, it only works on flashcarts. Trust me. I know because I tried it on my AR DSi.

@paperdude1000 ur sposed to use the games n music patch...the first one...i read it in a forum...i think my problem just has to do with the fat system on the card...i'll prob either need to get a 2 gb micro sd (not sdHC)...or find a program that will format my card from fat 32 to 16 or just fat...???...i'll prob try that

@guitarherodude110 You can't use games 'n music patch on AR DSi beacause you need the games 'n music flashcart and the SD or SDHC card needs to be formated to FAT32 or it won't work

@paperdude1000 I just told u that i read in a forum that u have to use the games n music patch for stuff to work on ar dsi! i have a 4gb micro sdhc card and it is formatted to fat 32! ok? some stuff i have on the card works but nothing can save or load...aka i was using animanatee to make a crazy mario animation and lost close to a weeks work becuz i didn't have the ds plugged in overnite and i couldn't save the animation...

Things cool, only problem I have is that it doesnt run a few tripple A NES games at full, so far iv had problems withLittle Nemo, Batman, Duck Tales, Chip and Dale, Ninja Gaiden 1 and 3 (2 works fine though) and Punch out (both versions) these are the creme of the NES crop, why these games dont run good while something like Bart vs Space Mutants runs perfect is beyond me, Hopefully an update will come out but its been awhile since the last one so I really dont thinks so, :( . . .

Is there a way to get this to play in full 4:3 resolution without having to cut off the top and bottom parts? It's either that or I would have to "squish" the top and bottom to get everything to fit into the wide screen.

I don't think there is, just because of the DS's screen resolution. It's definitely a downside but sometimes you can just "wiggle" the screen around to find a decent setting.

Depending on what flashcart you have, you may or may not need to patch the file. If you have a Slot-1 card (R4, M3, CycloDS, etc) you don't need to patch it.

Well most NES games don't even have saves, but the game supports save states. Basically you can save whenever you want, even during gameplay.

The ROM holds the NES save data (not save state) until you turn the DS off, so I really would use save states and not bother with the NES game's saves.

Weird. R4DS should automatically DLDI patch any homebrew. In any case, it's possible to patch it manually.

Watch my video, "Intro to DLDI Patching and Installation Tutorial" on how to patch, and be sure to download the R4DS patch. (Watching the video will help you grasp this a bit more, so go do that)
