wow it sure is cool seeing another didge djembe matchup. you need to get out in public and introduce these cool sounds to others. A friend and I play every sat night outside a restaurant and its great to see the bewildered faces of others. Nice didge.
great sound man, but where did you get that stand for you didge! i cant find one any where, its so hard to play a didgeridoo and a djembe when you have to wedge the didge against your foot and your chin xD
ooh yes rubber is fine, i know natives used sticks, but i know its best not to, especially if its hard stick such sa drum stick but yeah i know a rubber like softer material is okay and soes add to sound uinqueness ;-)
Sure you can play it with a mallot. Look at the first nations people. I've been hand druming for years and though I would hesitate at using a drum stick in fear of damaging the rim, I wouldn't hesitate to use a rubber mallet.
Zoudzac, you rock it man!! Mallets and all! Love the drum and didge combo!
sound like Xavier Rudd!!!!!!GOOD JoB!

dude, you dont play a djembe or ashiko, or any other hand drum with a mallot, hands only, you can hurt the drum head with the mallot
but you do have some fairly decent beats though :-)
