still no clue why people do this. attention, too fucked up to be respectful or care? Its shitty and kills the vibe of ANY show when the band, DJ, etc... has to worry about dodging glowsticks and can't focus on their music at hand. I'm all for mobbing glowstick throwers. Shitty thing to do. Glowstick wars are one thing, but actually aiming for the stage is another. Dirtyness at its worst.
I was next to a dude at Camden this year who kept trying to hit the stage with glowsticks. He was seriously like trying to gun Mike down. He almost hit him and Mike just looked at Trey and mouthed "What the fuck?" and looked at the glowstick haha.
@oneshowatatime Haha yeah I know. It looked like the guy's girlfriend was having a lot of fun and I was just laughing with them though so it's not like I wanted to yell at him and shit.
@elimaurer Bands that put more emphasis on the music than lyrics and don't try to write pop songs usually try to play better music than making sure the 300 words they sing together sound exactly in tune.
about 10-15 minutes of a show are spent singing, you'd rather have them focus on that than the entire 140-180 that they're playing music for?
i doubt it was a "i dont like the music and i dont like you so im going to throw this glow necklace at at, kind of thrown. im sure it was more of a, "hey im wasted and i think it would be cool to get a picture of trey wearing my glow necklace i threw on stage" kind of throw
Interesting video. I've seen other videos like this (of other bands) where the frontman will lose his cool and start screaming and storm off. Trey is truly a professional and he proves it by showing that it wasn't a big deal.
man what the phuck were those people thinking, there is no reason to act like that at a phish concert, iph the people there didn't like the music, then they shouldn't have been there...what a bunch of dumbasses.
