I much prefer this version to the DVD version. The music, energy, and dialogue are MILES better. The dialogue was weird as hell in the DVD version.

As far as the VA goes, I didn't like DVD Goku's performance -quite- as much as this one, but it's still pure gold compared to FUNi's Goku, imo.

Thanks for posting man, why didn't the Ocead Dub DVD's of the first three movies feature the Shuki Levy score ?

@dennisbergkamp17 They wanted to make a faithful English adaption of those movies. So they used the original Japanese score.

@DBZOceanStudios Ah, I see, and correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't they also re dub a couple lines on the DVD as well ? I think I remember Turles saying "that was hot and spicy" after he blocked Piccolos Special Beam Canon, and then they changed it to "you singed my fingernails". Or maybe it was the other way around.

@DBZOceanStudios Lee Tockar as Freeza? If it ends up being true the rumour, the Ocean Kai voice may very well be better than FUNimation's Kai Freeza's voice.

But still,

"YOU DARE TO MOCK ME?!" < this is priceless and epic awesome with FUNi's Freeza's Kai voice

and so is....

"I am the Super Saiyan, Son Goku!"

FUNimation did an excellent job!

Freeza old voice from FUNimation's US DBZ Dub is just rotten old and sounded like he had been smoking.
