buenas yo tambn acabo de adquirid uno y km soy nuevo en el mundo android kisiera ayuda para sacarle provecho al maximo y tengo la version 1.5 ¿puedo actualizarla a una mas nueva?
esta exelente hola me gustaria chatear con gente q tenga el samsung 15700 e intercambiar conocimientos yo le puse d todo a mi celu pero todavia no encuentro una aplicacion q grabe la voz o saque fotos d la pantalla ayudenme con eso si pueden gracias
compre este movil hace un mes y lo he probado un poco..el aparato tiene potencial, lamentablemente la version 1.5 corre lenta con algunos programas y muchos otros no te los deja descargar o simplemente no corren, no entie3ndo porque samsung se quedo con una version de plataforma ya vieja, si el movil tiene gran potencial, pienso que muchos como yo, estamos un poco decepcionados con samsung, pues no existe ninguna actualizacion oficial en america latina a 2.1.

No. 2.1 for Spica will be out Q2 2010 (supposedly). though some people say it's out in Germany already. not sure if its true but very well could be. It's possible to root your phone and get 2.1 early if you absolutely need it
Yes, it plays .avi and pretty much every other video file I've thrown at it. very smooth playback thanks to the fast processor.
The android app store is huge! And since android is Linux based, many of the apps are free. The web integration is excellent, you can set it to check email and rss feeds plus dozens of other things.

You can choose to use 3G or not. If you do, you pay for it. Google maps is free, but you need an internet connection to update it.
GPS is free. But again, you'll need some kind of internet connection for the maps. There's a lot of free WiFi where I am, so I can usually get on for free, but if you're traveling where you don't have WiFi, you'll have to use 3G or another data connection. Look through the app store, I'm sure you'll find something you can use. Good Luck!

It's a basic GSM cellular setting. On most networks, it's cheaper. But 3G is more of a standard today. You can talk to your phone company about ways to keep the costs down. They can also set things up in ways that I really can't explain in this chat box on YouTube.
How do you like the phone so far. I'm still loving mine over all. I'm looking forward to getting android 2.1 up on it too.

your music needs to have ID3 tags. it doesn't care about filenames and folder names, it only reads the tags inside the files.

the button that says 3G does mean that i'm conected but do I pay for it?
and is gps free? and google maps? or does it uses internet wherefore I have to pay extra?
