I love playing simply by feeling- No sheet music, No rules!- You can almost tell what the musician is feeling. Although Ive made a few and said, " I wish I would have recorded that". But I cant remember what I just played.
You seem to be sitting underneath a bridge. Did this add to the resonance that your shakuhachi was making? I wish I could get that kind of resonance. Do you sell the flutes that you make? You are an awesome player -- way better than the traditionalists!
yes its a pedestrian tunnel underneath the parkway to the beach.i love it there for the acoustics you picked up on. since leaving my 9-5 design job this week,i intend to pour myself fully into my artistic pursuits, so will once again start selling flutes and other artisan-craftwork,

there is no notation, all my pieces convey what i'm feeling or wish to express in that specific moment,theyre played from the heart not sheet music:)
the flute is in Eb minor pentatonic. i made it with more of an Andean Quena construction.
