I saw this tour at the Orpheum Theatre in Boston Mass. Best concert I've ever seen. 10 rows back. This was also Motorhead's first american tour, I was a fan for life after the show.

Wow randy was talking to Lemmy thats awesome i saw these guys in the Toledo sports arena on the blizzard tour motorhead was way unheard of in 1981 they got booed off the stage Lemmy killmeister says fuck you Toledo all your famous for is Max Fucking Klinger (Jamie Farr from the mash TV series ) Ozzy and randy put on a great show that night and i also got to see randy and Ozzy again on diary of a madman in February of 1982 less than a month before Randy's death.

If you can get your hands on it, "Off The Rails" is an amazing book, written by Randy's bandmate and close friend through and it covers 1980-1982 with their time in Ozzy Osborne and Quiet riot. Rudy actually writes what Lemmy said to Randy when they met up.. can't remember it exactly. But definitely find this book.. it really shows what Randy was like.

I was at that gig. I went pillion from Southampton to Stoke on Trent on a Honda 400/4. I was 17 years old & only went cos someone couldn't go. I was a skinhead at the time & into ska & pink, but loved Motorhead. Black Sabbath were meant to be performing but failed to show so Ozzy took their place which was better anyway & Motorhead were awesome. I'm 44 now & have'nt been to a better gig yet!

Actually, Randy is of average height. I know this because I personally have met him. I'm 6"5' and I figured he was about 6'ft perhaps a little less because of the heels of his shoes. What made him look so "small" was the fact he was very smalled framed, like a girl. just check out the video. Also notice that he wasn't that much shorter than to other guys, and yet I don't think thier that short either...

I know this from personal experience from chatting with him backstage while the two of us were standing.
