I bought FM Manager yesterday Lost, the 3d match 'TV View Style" (as it's called in the game) is really disappointing indeed. The camera is too far away. Unless I've been watching the wrong Sports channel, I was under the impression TV cams zoomed in. The graphics are choppy, and indeed I was disappointed at there being no fans.

BUT, saying that, it's a football MANAGER game. Not an actual foodball PLAYING game. The bulk is done via the interface.

Overall it's a fantastic & addictive game.

the developers have added a 3D match engine to fm2009 you don't need to use any mods to use it

Keepa Chris if it's only giving you the option to show 2d games the likelihood is the graphics card on your computer isn't good enough to handle the 3d engine.

love the game, its a bit of 'in wenger we trust' thing, they hardly ever get it wrong so i believe it will be good. However they've been working on it for 3 years, but no crowd.... nice.

yeah, championship manager is the longest running of the two, I think some of the people who used to work on championship manager left to create football manager in about 2005, football manager is definetly the best of the two.

Actually Football Manager used to be Championship manager, and it was made by SI and published by Eidos

Eidos and SI parted company and SI kept the game, but couldn't keep the name Championship Manager so they changed to Football Manager

Thats why FM is still the superior game, CM is crap
